The Marketing Coordinator will assist in the execution of all casino, hotel, food, beverage, and entertainment strategies driven by the Marketing department. They will coordinate marketing efforts through casino events, advertising, and social media they will support key business and engage with the community to promote our value propositions. All in accordance with the strategic goals and objectives of the company they will help create an environment where guests and team members enjoy a market leading experience.
Success in this role will be measured primarily through ongoing efficiency improvement, quality of marketing & creative project output, increase in visitation / EBITDA and ability to contribute to a diverse, strong, and satisfied workforce.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with Marketing Leaders to implement loyalty reinvestment strategy for properties including: gaming, non-gaming, and hotel
  • Assist property marketing leaders in executing annual marketing plans within coordinating budgets
  • Manage development and completion for all brand, marketing, media, and creative requests for your region
  • Assist in strategy and execution of casino events and campaigns
  • Assist in preparing and filing of necessary compliance and accounting reports
  • Work in Casino CMS to Set up and Execute casino events
  • Prepare property communications for marketing programs and promotions, schedule and review materials with property management and provide on-going support as needed.
  • Coordinate property signage including print, digital and back of house.
  • Property site visits to inspect casino and gather feedback on marketing campaigns.
  • Print and position on property marketing materials
  • Assist in development of localized strategic relationships and alliances
  • Work with warehouse on inventory and receiving of all retail merchandise, player gifts and giveaways items
  • Optimize marketing through cooperation with support organizations (e.g., Analytics, Creative ,Direct Mail)
  • Continually monitor and react to in-market competitive activities
  • Support social media, public relations, and advertising programs
  • Identify, capture, produce, and publish compelling written, graphic, and video content for coordination with creative teams
  • Monitor & respond to surveys, online ratings & reviews, social channel comments, and direct messages in a brand appropriate and timely manner
  • Maintain accuracy of websites and digital content/listings.
  • Process vendor invoices in a timely manner using Maverick coding system.
  • Flexible workweek with possible additional hours required
  • Follows security policies and procedures and reports all violations

Requirements

Education, Experience and Training:
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent experience preferred
  • Five (5) or more years of recent and related successful experience in marketing or events.
  • Ability to learn and adhere to Maverick brand' standards and divisional marketing practices
  • Excellent project management skills to consistently meet deadlines
  • Strong functional knowledge of social media principles, practices, and the desire to apply that knowledge in a professional environment
Preferred
  • Previous experience successfully managing a casino marketing role
  • Previous experience in Hospitality Industry
  • Previous experience in Casino Management Systems
  • Must have outstanding track record of management capabilities and organizational leadership in a client-service, team-driven
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, and a proactive problem solver with a strong work ethic
  • Must be highly collaborative with strong management experience in building, managing, and leading high performing team.
  • Must be highly motivated, self-directed, outgoing, and personable with the ability to interface with senior management.
