Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Marketing Manager to join our US team located in Miami, FL. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this role will develop and implement traditional and digital marketing and publicity strategies for a wide variety of fiction and nonfiction titles across the PRHGE imprints and its specific audiences.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns to achieve business objectives
Works closely with authors and partners on media tours and publicity initiatives. Develops and handles relationships with media, bloggers, and influencers with the objective of gaining coverage for books and authors. Writes press releases.
Executes the email marketing plan: creation and scheduling of mailings, periodic newsletters, and email marketing campaigns targeted to consumers
Manages social media channels
Track metrics and success criteria for all marketing efforts. Able to work with appropriate quantitative and qualitative data for analysis and reporting, from online and offline sources, with a variety of formats and structures.
Organizes and coordinates the company's participation in trade shows and book fairs as well as author events
Communicates plans and strategies to in-house team, including editorial and sales department
Occasionally travels with authors for book tours
Works on catalogs, ads, banners, and direct mail as required for the audience and seasonal list
Provides additional digital marketing and website support as needed
Requirements:
Native level in Spanish, fluent in English
Knowledge of the Hispanic market in the US preferred
Great leadership and team management skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrates exceptional customer service abilities, including empathy, patience, advocacy, and conflict resolution
Strong ability to receive and implement feedback effectively
Proficient in analyzing data and aligning outcomes with business objectives
Skilled in integrating digital marketing, traditional editorial marketing, and publicity strategies
Proficiency in Canva or Photoshop and Microsoft Office
Self-motivated and capable of taking a hands-on approach when necessary
The salary range for this position is $76,000-$80,000. All positions are currently eligible for an annual profit award or bonus, subject to Company results.
