The
Public Relations and Communications Senior Manager
plays a pivotal role in shaping the public perception and enhancing the visibility of our organization. This individual is tasked with the creation, oversight, and execution of an innovative PR plan, meticulously balancing budgetary constraints and project timelines to maximize impact.
Key responsibilities include:
Strategic PR Planning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive PR strategy that aligns with the overall objectives of the organization, ensuring every campaign contributes positively to our brand image.
Media Analysis:
Regularly analyze media coverage to gauge public sentiment and brand perception. Provide insightful updates to the leadership team, ensuring our strategies remain agile and responsive to market dynamics.
Campaign Management:
Spearhead dynamic PR and media relations campaigns that resonate with our target audience, driving our message home and bolstering our market presence.
Content Collaboration:
In close coordination with the social media manager, create and manage a robust content calendar that supports our PR objectives, ensuring consistency and impact across all communication channels.
Content Creation and Distribution:
Take charge of producing and disseminating a variety of content, including press releases, editorial pieces, and internal communications. This involves honing the organizational voice and ensuring all communications are clear, compelling, and reflective of our brand values.
Event Coordination:
Lead the organization and execution of high-profile PR events, whether within the WORLD framework or at other strategic industry conferences.
Media Relations:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with agency vendor and begin to build a network of journalists, influencers, and media outlets. Your skill in navigating these relationships will be essential in securing favorable coverage and positioning our organization as a leader in its field.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in public relations and media communications. You will possess exceptional writing and editing skills, a flair for storytelling, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Your efforts will ensure our organization's voice not only reaches but resonates with our target audience, driving forward our mission and objectives.
Your Focus:
Create and manage a PR plan, including budgets, timelines, etc.
Analyze media coverage of the organization and provide regular updates and visibility to leadership team and organization.
Develop and execute PR and media relations campaigns that align with the organization's objectives.
Work closely with social media manager and field marketing to create a content calendar.
Writing, editing, and distributing press releases, thought leadership, and other internal communications.
Organize promotional PR events at WORLD or other strategic conferences.
Building and maintaining positive relationships with journalists, influencers, bloggers, and other media outlets.
Minimum Requirements:
7+ years of Public Relations Experience and 3+ years of Software Experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experienced in Agency Management
Experience in software technology required
An analytical mind and problem-solving skills
In-depth knowledge of industry best practices; agency experience a plus
Strong project management skills; expertise in file sharing and collaboration tools.
