Job Description
Our client, a white-glove third-party service provider that is integral in the construction & development process seeks a Marketing & Sales Assistant to join their growing, entrepreneurial team.
The Marketing & Sales Assistant works closely with one of the firm's Principals & Co-Founders to maintain the company's CRM, support company sales activities, and bring excellent organization and technological skills to the team.
The ideal Marketing & Sales Assistant candidate will energetically support the company's presence social media platforms to promote company marketing efforts, strengthen the overall brand through multi-channel campaigns and traditional public relations strategies. They possess strong written and verbal communication skills, organization, and a designer's eye & skillset.

This is an on-site role in a beautiful, well-appointed office in Old Town Pasadena, near public transit.

A day in the life of a successful Marketing & Sales Assistant includes, but is not limited to:
  • Produce written content for social media, email outreach, development, and marketing - as well as assets for online content and print material;
  • Work collaboratively with the other team members on the production of all company marketing pieces;
  • Manage and update web content using a content management system;
  • Manage all social channels. including content production, audience engagement, and reporting;
  • Write press releases and coordinate press relations and coverage with reporters;
  • Manage and drive earned media outreach on all company milestones and maintain a detailed database of press and marketing channels for events and news moments;
  • Develop content for direct news, magazine, and online advertisements and journal ads;
  • Collaborate on the attendance of conferences & industry events; and
  • Be the champion of quality control in terms of branding and messages, writing and design/look and feel.
Requirements
The ideal Marketing & Sales Assistant possesses the following experience & skills:
  • At least 1-2 years' experience in marketing, sales, writing, content marketing, public relations, journalism, or public affairs
  • Exceptional writing skills, editing, and presentation skills to craft key sales messages;
  • Desire to continually seek innovation in marketing and constantly look to take things to the next level;
  • Design sensibility and an understanding of branding and how to manage the design of impactful marketing collateral;
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, CRMs, Canva and/or Adobe Creative suite;
  • Resourceful, proactive, and curious spirit;
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills;'
  • Passion, drive, and enthusiasm for leveraging digital marketing expertise to educate colleagues, win business, and drive brand awareness;
  • Strong design sense and technological savvy, including working knowledge of Google Analytics and SEO, with the ability to learn new digital platforms/tools quickly;
  • Strong work ethic, team spirit, eagle eye attention to detail, and ability to meet multiple deadlines;
  • Ability to judge several projects concurrently and thrive in fast-paced environment.
