Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute an internal communications plan: you will align internal and executive messaging with the company's vision, mission and product positioning.
- Lead the development and strategy around new and existing communication channels.
- Work cross-functionally across teams: you will work in close partnership with Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to execute communication initiatives from concept to delivery.
- Produce employee communications: develop and author a variety of internal and executive communications including presentations, corporate announcements, blogs to be delivered across a variety of communications channels.
- Manage the company's internal communications channels: maintain the editorial calendar (blogs, weekly newsletters, etc.), research and develop quotes from people, write and develop stories, edit videos, and contribute to the company's Intranet.
- Support leadership and company meetings and events: you will help craft the messaging and program through agenda, speaker selection and logistics.
- Execute digital communication strategy across multiple social platforms
- Leverage analytical tools to provide innovative recommendations for enhancement of systems and processes
- Provide targeted support of external executive speaking opportunities in partnership with the Corporate Speakers Bureau, including screening and recommending speaking opportunities
- Build and execute robust social strategy for executives in partnership with the social/digital team
- Support and execute on webcasts, all-team meetings, newsletters and other employee engagement activations for top executives
- Create slides, briefing documents, memos, Q&As and other communications materials for executives
- 6-8 years of work experience writing in a corporate environment: you've managed a variety of corporate communications channels, including corporate intranets, mobile, internal social media channels, and employee engagement events.
- Strong executive communications experience: you can write and tailor content for specific audiences that demonstrates a deep understanding of messaging, positioning and stakeholder needs.
- Organized and creative: with news constantly changing, you're able to adapt and change directions in an instant.
- Experience writing for a global audience with multiple types of audiences and channels
- Ability to influence and build effective relationships with senior leaders
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously working against timelines
- Proven success playing a consultative role with a variety of stakeholders
- Experience writing and turning complex information into relevant, engaging, timely and valuable content
- Experience planning multi-channel communication campaigns from concept to delivery
- Experience with events and logistics
- Experience with manufacturing communications highly desirable
- BA in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing or relevant field
- Advanced degree in journalism, communications, public relations (preferred)
