Overview

Position Description

The Marketing Manager will report directly to the Director of Marketing, Photofinishing (ID) and will be responsible for managing how Fujifilm’s photofinishing products are represented at Walmart Photo. This will include merchandising and customer experience responsibilities, along with providing support to other marketing and product management initiatives to drive revenue and growth for Walmart Photo.

FUJIFILM North America Corporation, a marketing subsidiary of FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation, consists of six operating divisions. The Imaging Division provides consumer and commercial photographic products and services, including silver halide consumables; inkjet consumables; digital printing equipment, along with service and support; personalized photo products fulfillment; film; one-time-use cameras; and the popular INSTAX® line of instant cameras, smartphone printers, instant film, and accessories. The Electronic Imaging Division markets its GFX System and X Series lines of mirrorless digital cameras, lenses, and accessories to provide a variety of content creation solutions for both still and moving imagery. The Optical Devices Division provides optical lenses for the broadcast, cinematography, closed circuit television, videography, and industrial markets, and also markets binoculars and other optical imaging solutions. The Graphic Communication Division utilizes its extensive industry knowledge to develop fully supported traditional and digital print solutions for industries including commercial print, wide format, and packaging with its comprehensive line of digital inkjet presses, production toner printers, and software. The Industrial Products Division delivers new products derived from Fujifilm technologies including data storage tape products, including OEM and FUJIFILM Ultrium LTO cartridges, desalination solutions, microfilters and gas separation membranes. The Non-Destructive Testing Division delivers radiography solutions to ensure high accuracy inspection of transportation infrastructure, and assets within aerospace, and oil and gas industries.

Responsibilities

  • Support Walmart Photo goals and initiatives via special projects as identified by their manager and Walmart Photo. Special projects will be re-evaluated by Fujifilm Leadership every 6 months.

  • Redo and document new process
  • End to End Content Calendar
  • Business Approach to Content
  • Understanding the business including identifying the top categories, sub-categories, designers, seasons, cards, etc.
  • Content Rationale: develop levels per season including:
  • Ratio of photo vs duplex
  • Ratio of 4x8 vs 5x7
  • Card counts per season/sentiment
  • Color options
  • Size options
  • Offering expansion (magnets, postcards, wall décor, etc…)
  • Analytics of content performance on site
  • Criteria for cards to carry-over from year to year
  • How do we know what is live
  • Do they need updated to carry-over?
  • Managing Designers/Procurement
    • Creative Briefs
    • Lookbook management
    • Selection Process
    • Full schedule (from brief to launch)
    • Review contract terms for consistency and alignment
  • Manage how Fujifilm photofinishing products are represented for Walmart Photo including product imagery, descriptions, names, category (and other) graphics, and purchase flows.
  • Contribute to planning sessions to develop annual strategies in support of Fujifilm’s and Walmart Photo’s goals.
  • Work in tandem with the Fujifilm marketing, content, catalog, product management, and Walmart account teams to develop annual content calendars.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations on designs needed to fill gaps in the current offering, either due to sales data or market trends.
  • Provide guidance on products/designs to be used in Marketing campaigns and other assets, based on sales trends or data.
  • Analyze existing sales data (around products and designs) to pinpoint trends + opportunities and to develop plans for optimization + growth; including making recommendations on deletes and keeps to create an easier shopping experience
  • Create strategic power points and analytical reports as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Koisk Product Owner, SSD and the UX/UI team on customer flow, merchandising, and best practices to optimize and improve the shopper’s journey, with a goal of improved conversion rate and sales
  • Liase between Walmart Photo and the Software Team on features for the Walmart Photo Kiosk.
  • Work with designers/agencies on Walmart Photo graphical needs for the customer flow on kiosk and other channels as requested.
  • Manage external designers/agencies to ensure successful execution assigned projects and marketing campaigns on time and within budget.
  • Manage spends against the approved budget, including updating the budget tracker with estimates and actuals
  • Use and understand Fujifilm’s PIM (Product Information Management) and DAM (digital asset management) systems to lend additional support to the Fujifilm content manager as needed during busy times.
  • Provide Enrichment support on new designs that come into Fujifilm’s PIM, especially around where and how they appear on the Walmart Photo kiosk.
  • Review products & designs pre-launch and post-launch in partnership to ensure proper look, feel and placement.
  • Attend multiple weekly marketing meetings with Walmart Photo team.
  • Additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by their manager, this includes special projects brought to Fujifilm by Walmart where this person’s experience and expertise will be an asset. In these instances, a scope will be provided by Walmart and agreed to by Fujifilm, including reallocation of other responsibilities to meet the needs of Walmart for the project.

Required Skills/Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or certification in marketing, design or related quantitative disciplines 
  • 5+ years’ work experience in a marketing environment – manager experience is a plus
  • Experience developing + executing annual strategies. 
  • Experience working for or in collaboration with retailer (e-comm) – Marketing or site merchandising; Walmart and/or Photo category experience a plus
  • Project management experience, including the ability to prioritize work, delegate workload and manage the demands of fast-paced projects + tight deadlines. 
  • Experience with Project Management tools; Smartsheet a plus
  • Experience and comfort level with managing creative designers or agencies.
  • Good understanding of graphic/image file formats and specifications 
  • Experience interacting with and managing demanding client needs. 
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint – Beginner skills are ok with willingness to learn or improve.
  • Strong comfort level with reporting and presenting to clients and leadership teams.
  • Familiarity with and ability to navigate stock photo websites.
  • Experience with working with data, analyzing and summarizing.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with photo or related personalized products in an e-commerce or brick and mortar retail environment 
  • Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) and/or Product Information Management (PIM) Systems 
  • Experience managing simultaneous projects for multiple customers (internal/external)
  • Basic understanding of software user interfaces 

Salary and Benefits:
