What Impact You Can Make
The Product Marketing Manager - Cardiac Surgery will be responsible for downstream support of Concomitant Surgical Ablation products, AtriCure's largest product portfolio. This role must be able to work on cross-functional teams in support of current and new products and in support of new clinical programs to expand the portfolio. This role will also interface with the sales and commercial teams to develop and launch materials/programs to drive awareness and routine adoption of the therapy. This includes Research and Development, Sales, Marketing, Clinical Affairs, Operations, Finance, Quality Systems, and Regulatory.
Contribute to overall Open Concomitant franchise strategy roadmap initiatives and execute on business plans to grow the product line
Strong communicator with the ability to develop patient focused Open Concomitant initiatives and materials
Align with field sales team to refine and implement marketing strategies and programs
Work closely with Research and Development for sustaining activities and manage assigned products
Execute on essential marketing support activities, material updates, social media content, regulatory reviews, and internal website updates
Implement qualitative and quantitative voice-of-customer input for product and campaign initiatives
Establish relationships with key opinion leaders to assist with voice-of-customer activities
Educate, advise, formally present to, and interact with customers in support of business goals/objectives
Propose positioning, messaging, and market segmentation strategies for advertising, physician education programs, tradeshows, and podium strategy
Monitor competitive landscape to enable the franchise to develop better informed strategies, input into product pipeline, and communicate internally to relevant stakeholders
Work with all departments to execute effective product and data launches, and ongoing support to achieve sales performance goals
Support Sales Training in onboarding of new reps and in launch training for new products
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in marketing, biomedical engineering, or a related field (MBA or MBA or advanced degree preferred)
Minimum of five to eight (5-8) years successful sales/marketing or related experience, especially in cardiac surgery or cardiovascular medical devices
Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority, such as engineering teams
Builds and nurtures relationships internally and with external customers
Analytical and strategic, effective technical writer, and strong moderator/presenter
Hands-on and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
Ability to travel 20-35% domestic and internationally
