  • In partnership with the VP of Marketing, lead in developing and executing marketing campaign strategy with agency and in-house creative partners.
  • In partnership with the VP of Marketing, ensure communication of park experience, special events, and retail offers are aligned and being delivered to the right audiences at the right time.
  • Collaborate with the corporate creative team creating briefs, providing feedback and managing timelines for all creative needs surrounding park initiatives.
  • Review/approve creative (events, attractions, dining, promotions, etc.) prior to VP and Park President final approval.
  • Allocate correct offer/creative by market for each channel, ensure correct flight dates, manage the trafficking of all paid media including out of home, online, radio, print, digital, SEM and paid social.
  • Serve as a day-to-day contact for external media agencies and advertising vendors to ensure flawless execution of advertising campaigns.
  • Research, document and meet with new local advertising vendors and when necessary, work with media agency to assure viability. If approved, work with Procurement to get into BGT systems for payment.
  • Provide direction on agency recommended media buys. Work with BGT Promotions Manager to leverage buys and negotiate added value with media partners.
  • Guided by the Revenue Management team, launch new product offers (i.e. ticket and pass sales) to help meet sales goals.
  • Analyze results from each campaign and make recommendations to improve subsequent campaigns.
  • Act as liaison between corporate, agencies and the parks for commercial/advertising shoots.
  • Manage special project workflow from research and planning to implementation and execution.
  • Lead/attend weekly calls to discuss upcoming priorities and ensure alignment across all disciplines
What it takes to succeed:

•Must have a four-year degree and 10+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, strategic planning on the agency or client side. Experience in and passion for the theme park, zoo, tourism, and/or hospitality industry is a plus.

•High degree of comfort with a very fast paced and ever-changing environment. The ability to learn quickly, work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment

•A strong work ethic and the ability be professional at all times

•Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

•Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills

•Extremely detail oriented and great time management skills
