Firecom specializes in the sale, maintenance and service of radios, radio networks, calling systems and alarm receivers for emergency response, industry, security, healthcare and education. We prefer to work with renowned brands such as Motorola, Kenwood, Swissphone, Procom, Hikvision and Avigilon. Because there is continuous growth within our company, we are looking for someone who can help us as a 'video account manager'.
What are we looking for?
Our company has more and more projects related to video solutions. This includes permanently installed cameras, body cameras, vehicle cameras and walkie-talkies with video applications. To further expand this segment, we are looking for an account manager who can fully focus on all video solutions.
What does the work entail?
Today you are going to a customer for a conversation about a new camera system in a dairy production location. The customer already uses our walkie-talkies and is curious whether the images can be displayed directly on the walkie-talkies during an emergency. You go home at lunchtime and in the afternoon you make a quote for a BOA organization that is interested in 25 body cameras. At the end of the day you have an appointment with our purchasing department via Teams.
Inventory of customer needs at the customer's location, but also by telephone
Translate wishes and needs into a specification.
Process quotations and prepare orders
Independently design, calculate, calculate video solutions
Request and assess quotations from suppliers, among others
Actively searching and approaching potential new customers
Together with colleagues, responsible for further developing the installation based on customer needs
Consultation with installation teams
Consultation with planning and administrative support
