Nebius AI is an international company headquartered in the Netherlands, with engineering hubs in Finland, Serbia and Israel. Launched in November 2023, Nebius AI has one of the largest GPU capacities in Europe in its own data center in Finland, built from the ground up by the company's R&D team and showcasing our commitment to sustainability. The data center is home to ISEG, the most powerful commercially available supercomputer in Europe and the 16th most powerful globally (Top 500 list, November 2023).

TractoAI is a new BigData/AI product by Nebius AI. It is built on top of the mature, open-source YTsaurus technology, which boasts a decade-long proven track record within BigTech companies. Our platform is designed to be highly scalable, resilient, and multitenant, capable of handling up to tens of thousands of servers, exabytes of data, millions of CPU cores, and tens of thousands of GPUs. TractoAI is a new experimental direction within Nebius AI, aiming to provide an end-to-end platform solution for all kinds of BigData and AI challenges, including data preparation, distributed training, offline model inference, and more.

We have already secured several clients both within and outside Nebius AI. Some of these clients use TractoAI as their primary data lake or as a foundation for large language model (LLM) pre-training. We are actively building a go-to-market (GTM) strategy to expand our client base efficiently.

Our Vision

We aim to transform TractoAI into a leading BigData and ML product, competing with top cloud-like Data/AI platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, VastData, MosaicML, and corresponding products from large cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Our challenge lies in converting powerful technology into a successful product by defining the target audience, highlighting the platform's most outstanding strengths, and expanding our existing client base.

The role
We are looking for a TractoAI Product Marketing Manager with a strong background in transforming powerful, technically complex technology into successful products or businesses. This role requires vast knowledge of the cloud and AI industry, with a particular emphasis on turning either open-source technology or long-standing internal technology into marketable products. The ideal candidate will have extensive connections within the USA/Europe markets and the ability to leverage these networks to drive business growth.

You will collaborate with a team of 15 talented engineers experienced in distributed systems innovations, have opportunity to be involved in an AI startup at the early phase of its existence and work within Nebius AI, a successful AI cloud business, to innovate and drive a new experimental direction with TractoAI.

In this position, your responsibility will be to

• Develop and execute a marketing strategy to transform YTsaurus technology into a successful product and business.
• Identify and define target markets, customer segments, and business opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the cloud and AI industries, particularly within the USA and Europe.
• Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to align business objectives with product development.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
• Drive go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and sales initiatives.
• Establish and lead a USA-centric business team responsible for managing the entire sales funnel, from marketing to closing sales.

We expect you to have

• Experience in transforming complex technology into successful products or businesses.
• Vast knowledge of the cloud and AI industry.
• Either experience in making a product out of open-source technology or proven internal technology from a tech company.
