Q Center is looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team!
Job Summary
The Marketing Manager is responsible for assisting the Director of Sales & Marketing in designing, coordinating, directing, hosting, executing and evaluating all marketing efforts for the property. This position is also responsible for assisting in the development of the annual marketing plan and budget. He/she will collaborate with and manage the Marketing Coordinator position.
This position is on-site.

Education & Experience

  • Proficiency in MS Office; advanced skills in PowerPoint, Publisher and InDesign required.
  • Familiarity with social media channels strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years job-related experience, preferably in hotel sales.
  • Clear, concise, written and verbal communication skills, including experience making formal group presentations using audio/visual aids.
  • Must possess basic computational ability.
  • Graphic design, digital marketing and other design tool proficiency preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in desktop publishing.
  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing or Graphic Design required.

Physical Requirements

  • Flexible, weekends and long hours sometimes required.
  • Light work - Exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Fundamental Requirements

  • Employees are at all times attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests and fellow employees.
  • Manage all marketing for the company and activities within the marketing department. Relay software suggestions and enhancements to Director of Sales and Marketing.
  • Develop the marketing strategy for the company to align with company objectives.
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities; develop promotional items, incentives and collateral.
  • Work with the Director of Sales and Marketing to design, execute and monitor property branding and communication.
  • Execute agreed upon direct marketing campaigns.
  • Manage communications with marketing partners and corporate personnel.
  • Evolve, implement and manage Q Center brand and identity.
  • Plan and implement internal marketing incorporating cross promotion of departments.
  • Develop, create and coordinate advertising campaigns, measuring results.
  • Manage, optimize and adjust budgets for Pay Per Click campaigns (e.g. Google AdWords, Bing Ads, and Facebook Ads).
  • Facilitate the tracking and reporting of all marketing expenditures and the success of marketing campaigns, promotions, etc.
  • Oversee, facilitate and manage all interaction on social media, web sites and campaigns and provide insight for and report on competitor social media activity to influence best practices.
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.
  • Coordinate agreed upon public relation activities including press releases, special and community events.
  • Manage marketing collateral for the property.
  • Knowledge of community and region.
  • Perform audience, competitor, and keyword research.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of Google Analytics and marking analysis.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong budgetary, projections, and cost control skills.
  • Able to think creatively and take abstract ideas and synthesize them into a strategic marketing plan with clearly defined actionable items that can be tracked and measured.
