About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate competitive marketing professional to lead efforts for CrowdStrike’s win/loss analysis program. Reporting directly to the Sr. Manager, Competitive Marketing, this role will conduct detailed analysis on why CrowdStrike wins and losses in order to derive key competitive insights, generate reports and presentations, and create internal win wires. This role will work cross-functionally across marketing, sales, product and more to ensure CrowdStrike products and messaging are effectively positioned relative to the competition.
This is an individual contributor (IC) role.
What You’ll Do:
Own all aspects of CrowdStrike’s win/loss analysis program, including interviewing account teams and customers to develop competitive insights.
Run CrowdStrike’s internal win wires program across all competitive market segments.
Work with 3rd-party contractors to supplement and facilitate unbiased win/loss analysis.
Synthesize technical competitive research into sharply written, concise internal deliverables.
Continually analyze the competitive landscape across all key product segments to stay up to date on the latest market developments that may influence deal decisions.
Assist in competitive metric gathering that will feed into external CrowdStrike deliverables.
Enable sales, marketing, and partner audiences to properly position and differentiate CrowdStrike’s offerings relative to competitors across a range of solutions.
Contribute to critical product and go-to-market decision making by partnering with Sales, Product Management, other Competitive Intelligence professionals and the broader Marketing teams.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
Excellent writing skills, including the ability to synthesize complex topics into concise positioning statements.
Excellent people and project management skills to manage projects and interact/build rapport with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in the Cyber Security market with an emphasis on win/loss analysis or competitive research.
Experience with one or more of the following technologies is a must: Cloud Security, Endpoint Security (EDR), Identity Protection, XDR, SIEM, Threat Intelligence and Vulnerability Management.
Experience with Tableau and Salesforce reporting is a plus
Proven ability to synthesize complex technical concepts into field actionable guidance and executive summaries.
Superior communication skills including experience presenting to senior and executive level management.
