The University Web and Digital Marketing Strategist manages the day-to-day activities associated with Ball State digital marketing. As a member of the Marketing and Communications digital marketing team, the University Web and Digital Marketing Strategist will assist with the creation, delivery, and maintenance of digital content to its various channels. This role will also provide consultation to campus partners in order to meet business goals and optimize Ball State’s digital presence for its various audiences.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
At least two years of experience with production and management on digital marketing channels and platforms.
Minimum Other
Strong interest and aptitude in developing and/or maintaining websites; ability to learn new skills quickly; must be able to meet deadlines, adhere to project production schedules, and prioritize a large number of tasks; must be detail-oriented; must have strong communication skills.

Preferred Education
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, public relations, telecommunications, graphic design, or related field from an accredited institution.
Preferred Experience
At least three years of professional experience in maintaining and developing websites; experience working with a web content management system; web graphic design experience using multimedia programs such as Photoshop and Dreamweaver; basic knowledge of
HTML ; experience managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, experience with
CRM
Management Systems, and working as part of an integrated marketing team in a professional setting.
