About the role

As the lead application developer for BODS and S/4, you will be responsible for developing applications in programing languages SQL and ABAP, training and mentoring offshore resources. Need to work with various functional and business work streams. You will be responsible for writing technical specifications and making sure all change management controls in place.

We want to hear from you today if you have:
  • Analyze, design, development and support of BODS applications, ABAP functions, interfaces of SAP implementation projects and system maintenance.
  • Working with business users to gather requirements and writing technical specifications.
  • Coordination with offshore support teams.
  • Review the code and ensure technology risks and controls as per organization standards.
  • Assist in gathering business requirements, partnering with business analyst, and providing technical feedback on business requirement on feasibility and scope.

What we are looking for:
  • 6+ years' Experience in BODS design and architecture.
  • Experience in loading and extracting data from various databases which includes HANA, Oracle, Teradata, and Snowflake.
  • Experience ABAP dataflows and ODP functionality to extract huge volumes of data from SAP S/4.
  • Experience in using ABAP BAPI/RFC function modules in loading extracting data from source systems.
  • Sound Knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience in developing real time interfaces with SAP and Non-SAP systems using IDOC, BAPI and webservices.
  • Knowledge in SCD types in BODS development and various transformations of BODS.
  • Should have knowledge of data warehousing concepts on schema formation.
  • Should have sound knowledge of BODS job scheduling and management console.
  • Good analytical skills to analyze the ETL job issues.
  • 6+ years' experience in ABAP complex programing, testing and debugging functions related to RICEFW objects in SAP modules GL, AP, FSCD, FPSL and Treasury.
  • Development experience in areas of S/4 HANA ABAP7.5, ABAP OO, user exits, Business add ins, enhancement spots (Implicit & Explicit), BTE, BRF+, Adobe forms, CDS views and O data services.
  • Good Knowledge on SAP technologies such as Fiori SAP UI5, SAP cloud platform.
  • Experience in the implementation of scripts in Unix/Linux and FTP process.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or proven record of experience.
