SUMMARY

The Senior Marketing Specialist is an individual contributor who will support the delivery of our marketing strategy across various channels. They will work with the VP, Brand & Marketing to proactively identify areas for marketing optimization. They will manage third-party partners to drive the successful execution of marketing campaigns from a day-to-day perspective. This is a highly cross-functional role, supporting a diverse set of initiatives, which will enable this person to collaborate with all levels and groups across the organization, while also being hands-on. This position is part of a team that owns Brand, Communications, and Marketing.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in marketing or business administration or closely related fields of study, minimum of 7 years experience in marketing and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Geographical Location: This position may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement. Individuals working in this position must be located within the state of California.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Support a strong and consistent expression of the brand across all marketing campaigns.
• Support marketing strategy with execution across traditional channels such as in branch posters, direct mail, ATM screens, flyers, and collateral.
• Work with marketing agency to develop content (both copy and images) that are aligned with brand strategy and business objectives.
• Implement marketing campaigns across traditional channels, ensuring alignment with brand identity and integration with digital media marketing channels.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Digital Delivery, Lending, Training, Operations, IT) to implement and execute marketing campaigns and initiatives that drive engagement, growth, or retention.
• Support end-to-end content production, working with external design resources to deliver content. Drive high-quality creation of content for marketing channels.
• Produce campaign recap summaries, monitor and report on marketing effectiveness, and conduct completive analyses to identify opportunities for improvement and inform future strategies.
• Conduct market research & analyze data to reach target demographics.
• Conduct research and stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Uncover consumer insights and make data-driven recommendations to maximize business impact by gathering and analyzing internal and external datasets. Work closely with Marketing Team on executing integrated marketing initiatives, across all delivery channels.
• Work with VP, Brand & Marketing, and agency to understand metrics and track, measure, and report on campaign performance.
• Review, write, and edit content for typographical, brand tone and voice, and graphic consistency - e.g., direct mail, newsletters, brochures, flyers, posters, communications, etc.
• Maintain working knowledge of regulatory compliance related to member services and financial services areas.
• Resolve questions, requests, and problems courteously and within a given timeline.
• Provide project management support to ensure deadlines are met and perform other related duties as requested or assigned.
• Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, and USA PATRIOT Act including but not limited to reporting suspicious activities to your supervisor and BSA Officer.

• Working knowledge of digital & direct marketing channels.
• Working knowledge of how to use online analytical tools (Google Analytics, FB reporting, etc.).
• Experience using Microsoft Office - PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat, Canva, and other marketing software.
• Ability to provide high-level copywriting, when needed.

$38.83 - $44.79 an hour
