About the role and what you’ll be doing:
As a Design Assurance Architect, you will be focused on pushing forward technical innovation and transformation within the solution sets we provide. You will work closely with Solution Architects, Consultants, and clients to understand their business drivers and corporate objectives. Design client solutions on Ensono Cloud platform to meet customer requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with counterparts in the Sales and Consulting organizations to understand the customer requirements, high level design for Ensono Cloud platform
Create low level design and runbook for operational teams to implement and support.
Create concise and complete documentation that will be used by other teams for execution/reference
Work with Cloud Operations and DevOps team in achieving utmost stability and operational efficiencies.
Participate in discovery and assessment workshops along with resources from consulting, sales and product teams to develop and document Ensono Cloud solution that meets customer requirements.
Meet with Clients on site and/or virtually to gather information for Statements of Work and Client specific solutions
Create reference architecture frameworks and templates for Ensono Cloud clients.
Conduct solution development sessions and present Ensono Cloud solutions and business cases to a wide variety of audience
Gain executives buy in for complex solutions by engaging in executive and senior-level technology discussions.
Align and partner with Product Management to help drive appropriate product enhancements and changes to technology roadmap.
Aid in driving stability and innovation within the client’s current and future state and create solutions based on client requirements and available product offerings
Design, implement and manage networking solutions in the cloud environment, including Cisco ACI, VPCs, subnets, NSX/PA firewall, Load Balancers (AVI, A10, F5) and security.
Configure and troubleshoot network protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS), routing, VPN and load balancing during implementation.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer sciences
Major Industry accreditations / certifications
10+ years of experience as an architect or equivalent in the hosting and network space (preferably with a service provider)
Experience with detailed designing of VMware NSX/VCD based private cloud solutions.
Well versed in the hosting technology landscape including compute, network, security, DevOps and IT governance.
Has experience in technical documentation to capture solution components in a timely manner while ensuring acceptable level of detail, data integrity, and accountability.
Hands on experience in operations and engineering of Hosting and Private Cloud platforms
Experience in automation of Cloud based workload using orchestration tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Rundeck
Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate strong problem solving skills
Proficient with common office applications such as MS Outlook, MS Excel, PowerPoint and MS Visio
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
Preferred Certifications:
VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
Cisco Certification such as CCNP, CCDP
