Role Overview:The Director of Product Marketing for Life Sciences & Healthcare is responsible for supporting go-to-market activities and organizational enablement of Clarivate's Life Sciences & Healthcare portfolio. The role drives strategic marketing plans to nurture and grow the product portfolio, including earning new revenue and enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty. The Director of Product Marketing will contribute to a comprehensive marketing strategy, develop an understanding of customer behaviors and needs, and articulate unique value propositions, messaging, and pricing that address customer needs. The role involves driving new capabilities in partnership with go-to-market and functional marketing teams and enabling sales through effective product-related sales tools and training.This position is highly cross-functional, working globally in partnership with Product Management, Sales, Customer Care, and the broader Marketing organization. To be successful, the Director of Product Marketing must be a critical thinker, commercially-minded, an exceptionally strong writer, and highly organized.About You - Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments10 years of B2B experience in Product Marketing within Life Sciences & HealthcareDemonstrated leadership experience with the ability to create alignment across teamsBachelor's degreeIt would be great if you have...Advanced degree is a plusPassion for technology and developing expertise in product marketingAbility to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment to find solutionsSelf-starter mindset with the ability to set priorities and manage time effectivelyAttention to detail, commitment to quality, and exceptional writing skillsWhat you will be doing in this role:Planning:Plan and track programs that support raising awareness about our Life Sciences & Healthcare products and commercial programs in support of new business and retention.Work across product marketing, industry marketing, demand strategy, field marketing, as well as with creative and web teams.Product Positioning:Drive the development of clear and compelling messaging and value propositions that differentiate our capabilities and expertise in the market globally and by region.Work with the Product Management team, Global Sales, and the Marketing organization to build buyer personas and map out the customer journey, identifying opportunities to optimize the customer experience.Sales Enablement:Communicate the value proposition of the product sets and enhancements to sales.Assist in developing messaging and tools that enable sales to grow the business, including internal and external release communications and corresponding sales tools.Content Creation:Partner with creative teams (internally and externally) to manage and track the development of content pieces, including sales tools, marketing content (product videos, case studies, whitepapers), competitive battle cards, web content, social media content, and more.Market Research:Conduct market research, persona development, and buyer journey mapping to gain a deep understanding of customer behaviors and needs.Collaboration:Collaborate with Product Management, go-to-market, and marketing teams to successfully launch new capabilities and services.Work closely with Product Management and sales to gather feedback and insights for continuous product and message improvement.Collaborate with the broader marketing organization to develop and execute marketing campaigns, content creation, and demand generation initiatives.Stakeholder Management:Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and internal teams to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.Industry Awareness:Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and risks.Customer Satisfaction:Drive customer satisfaction and loyalty through effective marketing initiatives and communication.Hours of Work:* This is a full-time position, primarily working core business hours in eastern time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed.* This is a hybrid role working in the office 2-3 days a week, in Philadelphia or our other US locations.Clarivate is an Equal Opportunity Employer Vets/Minorities/Women/Disabled
