Job Summary:
Lockwood Hills Federal is seeking a Graphic Design Specialist II to design and develop graphics, infographics, publications, videos, and website media for the Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) Initiative. ADL bridges US Government agencies to encourage collaboration, facilitate interoperability, and promote best practices for using distributed learning to provide the highest-quality education, training, informal learning.
This position will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining informatics, graphics, and information displays that enhance learning experiences and convey capability and value to ADL stakeholders. The position requires extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams to create and manage scalable, secure, and efficient applications for DoD training partners and educational institutions. This position requires superb design, management skills, experience with quality control, strong time-management and administration skills, strong detail- oriented organizational abilities, and some facility with coding.

Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
Prepares technical and non-technical visual presentations through designing art and copy layouts for publication
Illustrates established design concepts by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
Assists with the coordination of photography, artwork, and printing. Handles moderately complex issues and problems
Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter
Designs and develops graphics, infographics, publications, videos, and website media
Consistently produces high-quality creative work that meets aesthetic, usability, and functional requirements
Translates technical information into meaningful diagrams or illustrations
Executes a design process to meet deadlines
Uses a variety of design applications (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
Ensures website layouts are well-designed, administers program social media, creates event specific collateral (e.g., name badges, table tents, agendas), and captures audio and video artifacts at events
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be US Citizen
Education and Experience:
2yr relevant experience OR
1yr exp + Bachelors degree in related area OR
0-1yr experience + advanced degree
Be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
Posted Salary Range
75,000-85,000
