Role and ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities
Design and develop ad serving software using the Go programming language, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability in the systemCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and other engineers, to define requirements and deliver innovative ad tech solutionsOptimize ad delivery algorithms and infrastructure to ensure efficient utilization of resources and minimal latencyImplement and maintain real-time data processing pipelines for ad targeting and user profilingBuild monitoring and analytics tools to track ad performance, user engagement, and system health, providing insights to improve our ad serving capabilitiesLead and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within the teamStay updated with the latest developments in ad tech and contribute to the continuous improvement of our systems through research and innovationParticipate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-making processesSkills and QualificationsRequirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldAt least eight years of proven experience as a Software Engineer, with a significant focus on developing ad tech or ad-serving platforms with high-impactStrong problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering high-quality, scalable softwareStrong expertise in Go programming language (Golang) and proficiency in concurrent programmingProven experience with developing ad tech or ad serving platforms with high impactKnowledge of ad tech protocols and standards (e.g., OpenRTB, VAST, VPAID) is a plusExperience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Familiarity with data stores and databases, such as SQL and NoSQL databasesAbility to troubleshoot and optimize performance bottlenecks in large-scale systemsExcellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environmentJoin our dynamic team and play a key role in shaping the future of our ad tech platform.
