Check below to see if you have what is needed for this opportunity, and if so, make an application asap.A great place to work.Share with friends or Subscribe!Current job opportunities are posted here as they become available.Subscribe to our RSS feeds to receive instant updates as new positions become available.The post-production supervisor is responsible for supervising the post-production process: pulling the final project together, making sure deadlines are met, overseeing visual effects, editing, printing, delivering, and maintaining communication between producers, editors, and the Traffic Manager.This position reports to the Senior Director of MediaESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSManage the post-production operations within the department to deliver exceptional-quality mediaSupervise video post-production objectives by organizing the program elements, working with the production crew to organize necessary technical means, and organizing the personnel requirements to accomplish the taskEvaluate the various stations of the post-production operation to ensure optimum efficiencyOrganize, monitor, and prioritize assigned tasks to meet defined production goalsEnsure the flow of raw materials and other resources as related to project needsMaintain proper communication between employees and senior executives to ensure procedures and policies are well-understood and executedResponsible for the continued professional development, oversight, and performance management of all post-production and editing staffOrganize the training and development of educational manuals for the production teamAssisting in the recruitment and onboarding of new hiresEnsuring compliance with safety and professional standards within the facilityOther related duties as assignedMINISTERIAL DUTIESAs an employee of Lakewood Church, you are a part of an over 60-year legacy of faith. This will also include:Regular attendance at Church services and classesServing as a Prayer Partner or as a volunteer in any ministry of the Church, andServing our community through local outreaches from time to time when needed by the ChurchQUALIFICATIONSUncompromised commitment to Lakewood Church’s vision, values, and core beliefsDemonstrated Christ-like CharacterProfessional appearance and conductKnowledge of software & hardware equipment used in JOM post-productionExcellent organization, leadership, and interpersonal skillsExcellent problem-solving skills and a strong work ethicAbility to create and adhere to the production processAvailable to work nights, weekends, and holidays; up to 12-hour days leading up to and during production deadlinesMulti-skilled approach to production; a master at time managementMust have a working knowledge of composition pictorial continuity and audio to tell a story with competitive style and high-quality standards in the final productMust possess a strong collaborative spirit and understand the vision and creativity necessary to handle a broadcast as well as manage a production team to accomplish that visionSolid teaching skills to help evaluate and guide the staff always to increase their standard of productionAbility to carry up to 50 lbsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCEBachelors degree in media or related fieldExperience managing a team and/or professional production crewA minimum of 4 years of video production experience in a medium-large scale market
