Executive Overview

Problem: Communities that used to work together to help families are struggling. Technology has abandoned families, kids and communities. Kids feel overwhelmed. Social media accelerates feelings of isolation and depression.

Mission: Increase the opportunities for parents, youth organizations, in communities to interact, play, and support each other. Utilize inspiration, logistics, and guidance to help kids engage in the real world, build character, and improve their well-being.

The goal is not to leave a better world for kids, it's to leave better kids for the world.

Role Description

We are a start-up seeking a VP of Product Development and Marketing for our Bay Area office. This individual will lead Product Development for this community start-up to develop and execute the product strategy, roadmaps, and priorities aligned with the company's business objectives. The Director will work cross-functionally with teams such as engineering and design to develop and deliver high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations. The Director will drive and engage market research and engagement with parents and stakeholders to ensure alignment of requirements and capabilities.

As a full-time onsite role, this position begins as a founder and will include competitive salary and benefits packages, work-life balance, and opportunities to collaborate with and learn from a diverse team of experienced professionals.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in product management or related fields5+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing and mentoring teams of Product ManagersDemonstrated success in developing and launching productsStrong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform decisionsExcellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skillsExperience working in an Agile/Scrum development environmentBachelor's degree or higher in a related field or equivalent experience

Please note this is a position in a start-up. Founders compensation will be offered to the desired candidate. Founder’s Position Commitment and Salary -This is a start-up. We seek an individual who will

be the key individual responsible for the successful launch and management of our online offering. We have spent 1 ½ years researching and developing the key product needs and designing

product go-to-market and phase 2 and 3 functionality. The Position can be flexible with remote work. It will require a minimum of 2-3 internal meetings per week and will become a full time position.

The appropriate individual will be offered generous founder’s stock coupled with a founder’s salary of $70K - $100K yearly, depending on skills and background.#J-18808-Ljbffr
