All the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.This is a 6-month Fixed Term Contract based in Germany.Why Mozilla?We’re looking for an organized and capable Account Manager with an Ad Operations background to help manage our ads business across Mozilla’s entire platform, while delivering excellent customer service to our brands and partners.On the Mozilla Ad Operations team, you’ll work directly with our Sales, Editorial, and Product Teams to manage and improve our advertising operations. You will be responsible for setting up and managing ad campaigns across our platform, and owning those campaigns from start to finish. You’ll also be the primary point person for all client inquiries, making recommendations on all aspects of the ad campaign. This includes modifying copy, pacing, targeting parameters, and analyzing ongoing campaign performance to make each campaign perform at its best during the entire time it runs across Mozilla.You will work closely with the Sales team to see campaigns from planning to launch and be solely responsible for activation and post campaign activities. Our clients rely on the judgment of our Account Managers, and this role is crucial to the success of long-term client relationships and Mozilla’s ultimate revenue goals.Come work with us and make a big impact.What you’ll do:Manage post-sales ad delivery and program operationsManage ad trafficking and campaign optimization for direct sold media campaignsDevelop campaign performance reports for media campaignsCheck daily reports and provide troubleshooting support for issues relating to campaign spend, performance, and creatives - collaborating with third-party vendors when necessaryProvide outstanding customer service through professional and attentive support to all internal and external client inquiries, including making recommendations on how to change ad copy, targeting, or pacing to set up the campaign to meet client-specific KPIsInternally, you will also provide recommendations to the product team on how to evolve the design of ads in Pocket and features to build in our ad-serving technology stack based on your synthesis of client feedback.Join or lead campaign kick-off and check-in calls to establish campaign details and success metrics, and to discuss ongoing performance and optimizationWork with our tight-knit, collaborative team on RFPs by checking inventory and advising sellers on how to position Mozilla and create compelling campaign proposalsReview and approve brands and assets that will run on Mozilla surfaces, working closely with the Editorial team to make sure we are adhering to our content guidelinesWhat you already have:2-4 years of related work experience in client services, ad operations or sales support roles within the digital media industryBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceStrong analytical skills - using Excel to create reports and charts shouldn’t scare youAbility to understand client needs, create relevant solutions, set accurate expectations and communicate meaningful detailsDetailed knowledge of online media planning terms and processesDetailed knowledge and understanding of native advertising and content marketingDynamic, hard-working and highly organized approachExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSelf-starter that is well organized with good attention to detailGreat communication skills.
