Our client, a Manufacturing / Retail company for luxury cosmetic brands, is currently seeking a Senior Retail / Visual Merchandising Designer to join their team Full-time!

This position is onsite 5 days per week in Melville, Long Island. Your hours will be 8:30-5:30PM.
Responsibilities:
Conceptualize, develop, and execute overall design concepts for various retail and visual merchandising projectsResearch and select materials and finishes to use for each projectProvide feedback, and motivate Junior DesignersAble to take a project over the finish line with special attention to detail and final elementsCollaborate with engineering teams to ensure technical drawings comply with the design solutionOrganize and conduct client meetings to determine their needs and requirementsProvide needed information to client on design specificationsObtain client approval and ensure integration into the overall design
Qualifications:
8+ years experience in retail design luxe design is a plusExtensive knowledge of design principles and aestheticsStrong attention to detail, including color and material finishesSkilled in merchandising and display of products, preferably in beautyExpert sketching and rendering skillsAccomplished Graphic Design and communication skills to present and illustrate ideasProven ability to manage multiple projects and timelinesDemonstrated ability to work with teams through project completionAdvanced knowledge of Adobe Creative SuiteAdvanced knowledge in 3D software, 3DS Max preferred
