As an Associate, you will be directed closely by your mangers. When you become an Senior Associate you will be guided, taking a much more self-sufficient and proactive approach to your work. A Senior Associate owns, strategizes and delivers campaign activities from start to finish, with minimal input from their bosses. You will drive activity forward, overcoming obstacles independently and even running small accounts day-to-day largely on your own, including starting to work on budgeting and resourcing. The mark of a great Senior Associate is that their managers don’t have to sweat the day-to-day stuff – they know client emails will be picked up, projects will be moved forward, quality results will be delivered and ‘red flags’ elevated - and they rarely need to ask for an update as you’re consistently keeping them in the loop.Daily, you will:Pitch, network and converse with a range of influencers across tech and business publications to secure regular coverage in target outletsPerform some management duties on client accounts, preparing to fully take over the account management role responsible for resourcing and team/project management in the next 6-12 monthsCreate client-ready written materials (i.e. press releases, pitches, speaking and award abstracts)Track and deliver status updates and metrics reports that show impactDevelop and maintain positive relationships and open communication with day-to-day client contactsDeliver assigned objectives on time and within budgetVolunteer time to serve other teams or new business efforts to maintain full utilizationYou’ll Bring:Preferred: experience working with AdTech and MarTech companiesMedia relationships with various publications in a variety of industries2-5 years of B2B experience (required) as an agency AC/AAE/AE or in-house comms specialistStrong writing skills and a curious mind, always eager to learn and improveWhy Us:Flexibility – We understand that life doesn’t always fit around the 9-5; and that work/life integration is crucial.Global Reach & Opportunity – You will have the opportunity to work within global teams and travel within the US and globally to connect with clients and colleagues.Great Benefits - Strong benefits package includes paid time off, holidays, sick leave, cultural celebration days off, paid time off for community involvement, medical, dental and vision insurance, disability and life insurance, 401K match and a paid 6-week sabbatical after every 4 years of continuous employment. Hotwire takes into consideration a candidate’s education, training, and experience, as well as the position’s work location, expected work to be performed, required travel (if any), external market and internal value, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees. A potential new employee’s salary history will not be used in compensation decisions.
