The role in brief:The salary range for this position is $145,000 - $170,000 USD.You're conceptually minded and social-first in your approach coming from a background of creating organic social content that achieved high engagement.Reporting to our VP of Content, you'll run a creatively-led account to craft big, bold, disruptive work that cuts through the clutter and sets hearts and feeds on fire. You'll excel if you have a passion for entertainment (film/TV) and culture (social).You're a strategically minded; whip smart with a voice others respect (including clients).You have thrived both as a conceptual creative ideating campaign ideas and as a fast thinker - prolific with instant ideas based in cultural trends. You come alive in a 'newsroom' style 'brainstorm'.You are a natural leader with a strategic mind, outstanding ideas and excellent communication skills - able to thrive under pressure. You love working closely with clients and have a track record of gaining their trust to create the best work possible.The role has a threefold focus:

The client, The work, The teamThe client:You've worked with a range of world-leading brands who respected your vision.You're used to building rapport and influence with clients - you are a voice that they value.You can take a brief and spin insightful ideas from it without days and weeks of strategic insights - you bring your own creative insights.You can go toe to toe when it comes to entertainment (shows and films are your passion, and the surrounding culture in social channels).You have no issue leading a conversation with clients around strategic creative work.You have the skillset to defend the work, in a way the client will follow, without seeming defensive.You are an expert in hearing what the client says and reading between the lines for what they don't say.You can brainstorm / spar with clients and hold your own in the best interest of the work and the objectives of the brief.You have a clear vision and point of view that you articulate with conviction.You generate ideas on the spot.You can lead a client-attended team brainstorm of 10+ and give direction off the cuff.In meetings, with or without clients, you're able to impress with your 'on the spot' responses and possible solutions.The work:You're used to creating and leading world-class social-first work.You know the importance of a great, unexpected idea in order for organic content to create engagement.You're a strategic thinker, well aware of the difference between a big campaign idea and a tactical execution. And you're able to do both.There is rigor to your thinking - even for the smaller, faster concepts/social posts.You're a fast and prolific idea generator.You're able to inspire, direct, concept and take action to deliver excellence and difference, every time.You have a history of ideating award-winning campaign ideas for the world's best brands.From the top-level campaign idea to writing social posts that cut through the clutter you have a passion (and deep understanding) for social and trends.You are used to ideating and leading the development and execution of work that drives fame for our clients.Work that cuts through the clutter in culture and sets hearts and feeds on fire.Work that has excellence of concept and craft running through its veins.Along with delivering top-quality work, you'll have an eye on growing current live accounts by identifying provocative or purposeful opportunities.You're a acclaimed professional at leading and winning pitches.You've also won several creative awards for your own work - plus awards via teams you've led.When it comes to making the work, you have a ton of production experience and are well versed in the world of shoots.You understand your role in production and post production - able to guide a DP, editor, VFX, VO record, colorist, etc.The Team:You know how to set a high benchmark within the team for success when it comes to ideas, storytelling, copy, craft and cultural relevance.You're a clear communicator and a leader that empowers others.You are great at nurturing and upskilling creatives during reviews of the work - to add rigour to their storytelling and innovation to their ideas.You're used to forging close relationships and working collaboratively and effectively with other teams across the Creative journey, including Content, Design, Production, Creative Strategy, Brand Strategy, Project Management and Client ServicesYou're used to reviewing work with your Creative VP and keeping them informed along the journey - taking their feedback onboard and actioning their direction (aligning across the team).Qualifications

BA in communications, journalism, content marketing, or equivalent work experience10+ years experience in content creation at an agency, publication, or brandAt least 5 years experience in content strategy and 3 years management experienceExperience in the entertainment, film or streaming marketsExperience working with talent and covering live eventsProject management skills to ensure existing projects run smoothly and new opportunities are scoped and completedExperience delivering presentations and sharing new ideas with clientsSocial platform expertise needed: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, Twitter, LinkedIn, and moreExperience using the Google Suite, the Apple products (Keynote, etc.) and other basic marketing toolsExperience using Sprinklr or similar social media publishing platformsComfortable with Business Affairs and vetting content against brand best practiceNote: We emphasize skills, expertise and behavioral attributes over years of experience and traditional degrees.
