The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.This position is located in Washington, DC and offers a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop high performance web applications used by thousands of users globallyDrive continuous improvement by focusing on engineering excellenceInfluence CI/CD pipeline improvementsCollaborate closely with other Software Engineers across the organization.Continually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends and best practices that can be used to strengthen CoStar’s technology platform and development practicesDevelop and maintain an in-depth working knowledge of the CRE Industry and CoStar’s business model / technologyAct as "Voice of the Customer" when participating in product readiness reviewsBasic QualificationsBachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college.A track record of commitment to prior employers6+ years of production development experience in modern technologies, like React, Angular, JavaScript, Elasticsearch, C#, NodeJS, Cypress, Kafka, MongoDBA demonstrable track record of building and launching successful products and platformsExperience with cloud technologies like AWS, Cloud Managed Services, etc.Experience in Agile/Scrum processes, and Continuous delivery practicesExperienced in unit, performance, and automation testingDeeply understand what drives the business for which you are building softwareTake an active role in mentoring developers with ability to build consensusPreferred Qualifications and SkillsExperience managing a large Enterprise level code base, code quality and dependenciesExperience with C# or JavaExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCommercial Real Estate (CRE) knowledge is a bonusWhat’s in it for YouWhen you join CoStar Group, you’ll experience a collaborative and innovative culture working alongside the best and brightest to empower our people and customers to succeed.We offer you generous compensation and performance-based incentives.
