We’re seeking a passionate, creative, experienced design leader seasoned with growth strategies to join Ripple’s fast-growing design team. As the Lead Product Designer for the Developer Growth team, you will be working closely with the RippleX Product, Engineering, Docs, Data Science, and Marketing to help grow the crypto, specifically the XRP Ledger developer ecosystem.Ripple is a crypto solutions company that transforms how the world moves, manages, and tokenizes value. Through RippleX, we support and champion an open community of developers, so they can advance the solutions and innovation needed to allow businesses, consumers, institutions, and governments to fuel the engine of a new digital economy. We focus on several areas including DEX (decentralized exchange), Defi (decentralized finance), Dapps (decentralized applications), Central Bank Digital Currencies, NFTs, Stablcoins, Carbon Credits, and more.What you’ll do
Craft a vision that will define the future of our XRP Ledger ecosystem by creating end-to-end customer journeys which span from the top of the funnel, into onboarding, and through developer tools.Collaborate with other designers, product managers, data science, researchers, marketing, documentation writers, and a fast-moving team of developers who are passionate about user experienceFacilitate requirements discussions with stakeholders and create alignment on design solutions while balancing users and business needsPrototype experiences from start to finish, owning all aspects of the user experience - strategy, architecture, interaction design, and visual designDrive design process improvements in an Agile environment that enable the team to scaleIdentify opportunities to improve the user experience and champion your ideas within your working group and across the companyCreate research-based deliverables that drive user empathy like user journey maps and profiles/personasChampion design thinking and user-centric practices across the companyGrow the people on your team through coaching and mentorshipWhat we’re looking for:
8+ years of experience of designing useful products for multiple types of use casesExperience with growth experimentation and experimental-driven teams including A/B, and multivariate testingKnowledge and conversion rate optimization, product and growth strategy, user psychology, and storytellingStrong at collaborating in a cross-functional team environmentAbility to work independently, and the desire to learn, grow, and improve our design and broader teamA proven track record and a strong portfolio featuring examples of your work, your design process, and the outcomes/resultsEntrepreneurial and self-motivated with a bias toward action – there’s tons of greenfield opportunity here, and you’ll need to lean into the ambiguity and lead projects to completionGreat verbal and written communicator with the ability to write copy that is human, clear and conciseCan craft engaging presentations and can influence stakeholders and audiences at all levels of the organizationTakes on the detailed aspects of visual design such as icon design and illustration, or can direct visual designers toward solutions that balance form and functionExperience designing products from the ground up and has an understanding of product design’s role in creating user adoption and engagement to ensure a successful launchValues over-communication, especially when collaborating with remote coworkers located in different time zones across the globeExcited for the chance to shape the design culture at a growing company and to inspire people with your unique perspectiveBonus points:
