About the Role As a Director, Marketing Design, this position is responsible for leading the expression of Athleta across all seasonal marketing campaigns covering all owned and paid vehicles, upleveling and holding omnichannel brand design to a standard of excellence in support of the Senior Creative Director.

Make your application after reading the following skill and qualification requirements for this position.This position will be responsible for guiding the design of all assets, overseeing design concepts and guiding the team in the creation of full suites of deliverables ranging from site and app to email to retail, along with promotional digital and print assets.This position will be hands-on with design, while overseeing the day-to-day work of the design team.This position will work closely with and report into the Senior Creative Director.What You'll Do

Lead the creation of seasonal design concepts for marketing campaignsGuide the team on typography treatments, color selection, layouts, animations, motion graphics, and video editingEnsure all content is on-brand, cohesive in terms of style, quality of images, and optimized for user experienceWork closely with cross-functional partners in brand and digital marketing, merch, and product design to ensure that all work is in support of business objectivesLead the process of optimizing, preparing, and delivering filesExpress concepts and share work clearly with team, business partners, and company leadershipInteract with and take direction from leadershipCollaborate cross-functionally to meet business goals and ensure designs implemented align with company’s initiatives; leverage strategy, analytics, and brand insightsReceive and implement feedback from key stakeholders, as well as provide feedback to the design teamWork with Gap Inc. central team to push for and implement innovative solutionsWork closely with Senior Creative Director and Associate AD, Brand Design, to elevate design expression across all touchpointsCustomer-centric thinker; continually absorb customer insights and apply knowledge strategicallyWho You Are
