Protestant Musical Director

The applicant shall function as part of a diverse team in a religiously pluralistic environment.The applicant shall work with and under the direction of the assigned chaplain.The applicant shall meet weekly (or as needed) with the ass igned chaplain to discuss worship program direction and priorities.The applicant shall plan for, prepare, coordinate, and facilitate all protestant worship services.The applicant shall establish and manage a volunteer tracking system for all volunteers who enable the worship service s.Qualifications:

The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.The applicant shall have the ability to arrange, di rect, and perform multiple styles /genres of worship musicThe applicant must be able to operate in and be fully conversant in the religiously pluralis tic environment of military chaplaincy .The applicantshall be able t o multi- task and manage multiple music programs for multiple worship servicesEducation/Experience:The applicant shall possess an undergraduate or higher degree in music/Christian worship music .The applicant possess four (4) years of experience in facilitating Christian worship music for a church or military chapel .
