This is a full-time entry-level position for those who have strongquantitative analytical and organizational skills, and have a strongdesire to learn the very basics of e-commerce advertising and mediaplanning.

If your skills, experience, and qualifications match those in this job overview, do not delay your application.Skills / QualificationsBachelor's Degree required.Previous experience in advertising or interactive media a plus.Demonstrated enthusiasm for interactive media / marketing withstrong working knowledge of the Internet.Ability to manage multiple tasks to completion.Desire to learn / build knowledge of media / marketing principles,interactive media and direct response strategies and tactics.Strong interpersonal skills including clear communication skillsand positive attitude.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracywhen working with numbers (strong math skills).ResponsibilitiesWork closely with Content Planner on the development of recommendedsites and placements on media plans.Develop a strong working relationship with the media salescommunity to become the point person for day to day needs andaccount maintenance for all active media campaignsCollect useful site background information (demographics, psychographics,etc).Investigate new sites relevant to clients' media campaigns.Work with sales reps to develop new tactics (placements, creativeunits) to improve performance of clients' advertising.Use interactive media research tools to develop profile oftarget audience, and preliminary list of considered sites forupcoming media campaigns.Develop (or assist Media Planner in creating) POVs on newsites and/or promotional opportunities (sponsorships, etc) relevantto clients' business objectives.Work closely with Buying and Performance Analysis groups toensure impression delivery of campaigns, prompt delivery ofsite reports to clients, and accurate and useful performancereports.Communicate vital details of planned media campaigns to MediaBuyer to ensure media is accurately bought as planned.Work closely with Account Manager, Creative and ProductionDepartments to investigate and deliver details / specs necessaryfor the production of all creative units.Become proficient with 3rd party ad-serving system to be ableto accurately input media plan details into ad-serving database.Maintain detailed files of all pertinent records (latest mediaplans, performance reports, etc.) relevant to clients' currentmedia plans.
