The Director of Product Marketing will have ownership of product marketing for Vumedi's commercial products and solutions which are sold to pharmaceutical and medical device companies. This role will be primarily responsible for the development, packaging, positioning, and pricing of these advertising and sponsorship products. The ideal candidate has worked extensively with or for pharmaceutical companies and/or their media-buying agencies.

What you'll do:

Product Marketing Ownership: Take full ownership of product marketing strategies for our range of commercial products and solutions aimed at pharmaceutical and medical device companies.Product Development and Packaging:

Lead the development and packaging of advertising and sponsorship products, ensuring they meet market needs and are positioned for success.Codify and simplify packaging to set up Vumedi for scale as the company grows sales team and customer success professionals

Positioning and Pricing: Strategically position our products in the market and develop competitive pricing strategies to maximize revenue and market share.Market Intelligence:

Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market needs, using insights to inform product marketing strategies.Define tailored strategies for different customer segments as Vumedi expands to all of medicine

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with product management, sales, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on product marketing initiatives and goals.Work closely with sales on complex opportunities and account strategies

Customer Insights:

Engage with customers and leverage feedback to refine product offerings and marketing approaches.Own and update Vumedi's customer journey from new prospects to multi-year repeat customers

Brand Champion:

Ensure that all product marketing efforts align with the company's brand and messaging guidelines.Act as the internal expert of customer personas, becoming the 'voice of the customer' within Vumedi

Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of product marketing strategies.Product Materials: Build out and maintain the internal and externals materials and process documents related to the products that you oversee

Whom we're looking for:

7-10 years of experience in product marketing or equivalent, preferably within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.Proven track record of successfully developing, launching, and managing successful digital marketing solutions targeting pharmaceutical companies and/or their media-buying agencies.Strong understanding of the commercial product landscape in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors.Have an understanding of the pharma brand lifecycle from pre-launch to post-LOE.Experience with products that must go through pharma client medical legal review approval cyclesAbility to manage various deliverables among many stakeholder groups in different time zonesStrong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.Display proficiency and confidence in managing relationships to drive collaborationExcellent teamwork skills and ability to influence others and quickly establish trust, credibility and rapportAble to demonstrate innovation, successfully tackling challenges in new and creative ways in often-stressful, deadline-intensive environmentsExpertise in Microsoft Office or Google Suite products, familiarity with program management tools, such as Smartsheet, Project, and JiraExperience working within a Marketing teamBA or BS in marketing, business management, operations management or related field
