Principal Product Designer on Social
at Roblox, you will directly shape how Roblox players socialize, communicate, and connect in the metaverse. This is a high visibility role, responsible for defining the core experiences that promote engagement on our platform. You will help foster a collaborative environment to establish the vision with important product partner teams around the company. Most importantly, you'll improve the social experience for our users around the world at a time of incredible growth. designerA Bachelor's degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Ergonomics, or equivalent work experienceYou Will:Create outstanding user experiences for a global audience through mindful flows, systematic layouts, and delightful interactionsManage end-to-end feature design with an ability to translate abstract ideas into viable product featuresWork with Product and Engineering partners to represent the design team, facilitate design discussions, and give feedback in planning and product channelsCollaborate with Design and Product leadership to establish your features and contribute to the direction of your product areaWork with Engineering to guarantee a high-quality implementation and user experienceWork in close collaboration with Design leadership to improve design processesInterview new Product Designers and inform our inclusive design hiring processFor roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
