The role of Product Marketing Manager I (PMM1) is to strategically plan and manage all the marketing work streams that go into launching new products, services, and product features at ConMet. They will work closely with others in marketing, product management, engineering, and sales to execute Go-To-Market (GTM) plans. Success in this role includes building pre-launch anticipation with target audience engagement and hitting initial launch goals for lead generation and customer flow through the sales cycle during the first 6 months.

This role requires working in an office environment (not hybrid or remote) at ConMet's corporate headquarters in Vancouver, Washington. Non-local candidates must be open to relocation (relocation assistance available.

Key Duties

Execute comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) plans for new product launches.Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audience, market trends, and competitive landscape.Define and articulate product positioning, messaging, and value proposition to effectively communicate product benefits to target audience.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, sales, and marketing to ensure successful product launches.Create and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for all marketing work streams involved in product launches.Develop sales enablement materials such as product collateral, presentations, and training materials to support the sales team.Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product marketing strategy and tactics.Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degreerequired(preference would be for degrees in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Writing, Public Relations, or a closely related discipline).8+ years of marketing experiencerequired.Proficiency in Office products and Adobe Suiterequired.Corporate marketing experience in either consumer and/or industrial products (with skills in corporate marketing functions such as external/internal communications, marketing materials, social media, etc.)required.Preferred Qualifications

Experience in heavy duty transportation and fleet, service channelspreferred.Great communication skills and comfortable working in a cross-functional environment.About ConMet

Compensation & Benefits

New hires generally start between $81,475 - $116,393. The full salary range for the position, across all geographies is, $81,475 - $139,671 per year. The upper portion of the salary range is typically reserved for existing employees who demonstrate strong performance over time. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience.

Targeted annual bonus is based on company performance to objectives during the fiscal plan year which runs from October 1 – September 30.Comprehensive employee benefits package, including medical/dental/vision coverage, life and disability protection.Vacation plan – ConMet offers exempt employees a paid vacation benefit that provides the flexibility to take time off from work based on factors including good discretion, sound performance, and consideration of overall team and business needs.Paid sick leave up to 10 days (80 hours) per calendar year.ConMet offers an extremely strong retirement package:ESOP - Participation (100% company paid) in the ConMet/Amsted Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP).
