We're starting with VTubing as our first use-case: avatars that people use to live-stream and make content online. Avatar content (also known as VTubing) has broken into the multi-billion-view-per-month category on places like Twitch and YouTube. This has given a new group of people the power to tell stories and present themselves on their own terms online while also protecting their IRL identities. We're now the #1 US VTubing app on iOS, and have recently released an AI platform to create avatar powered agents.We're backed by great investors over at Amazon, MakersFund, YCombinator, and more .App StoreAbout the role Hyper is looking for a full-stack technical artist with a deep understanding of Unity. You’ll touch everything from technical art to implementing features in Unity for our avatar stack and designing specs for our avatar platform: all in the service of building great immersive avatar tools for people.Ideally you have a portfolio of projects that demonstrate your expertise, from small games or projects to open source projects and modules. Professional experience is preferred but not required: we care about your work first and foremost.???? You'll help build out our Unity tooling and experience. You’ll be working with one other Unity developer, and will touch everything in the stack. You’ll have an outsized impact as an early member of the team.???? You'll be joining a small team focused on a fast growing product with strong signs of product market fit and should be able to adapt quickly and prototype quickly in response to changing needs.???? You should been building with Unity for 5+ years or be able to prove equivalent experience in public personal projects. You should also have an excellent deep understanding of Unity and be very fluent in using C#.???? You should have a deep understanding of 3D, rigs, and the pipeline involved in the creation process.???? You should be familiar with standards and best-practices around software development, version control, and collaboration.???? Hyper is ~7 people right now and we're fully remote, with a few folks in California. Written communication is extremely important due to our distributed nature, and you should be able to communicate your ideas, proposals, and decisions over the internet and in person.????
