Senior Sales Director – Dick’s Sporting Goods The Sr. Sales Director, DSG is responsible for the management and strategic oversight of The North Face Dick’s Sporting Goods and Public Lands key accounts. This position is responsible for developing and executing business strategies, P&L, new growth initiatives, key sales planning, budget, and execution. The role is a critical component in maintaining a strong partnership with one of the brand’s most important retail partners. How You Will Make a Difference

What you will do:

Drive the wholesale sales growth, and continually strengthen the businesses for the DSG and Public Lands key accountsDirect P&L activities specific to DSG, including any decision which directly affects sales and profits, strategic direction, and day to day marketing activities.Develop and execute strategic account plans while gaining cross-functional alignment to achieve goalsLead a team of Sales Managers to accomplish brand strategies while delivering financial goalsMaintain strong partnerships across all levels of DSG and Public Lands leadershipManage the DSG Go to Market strategy through work with Merchandising, Product and Marketing teamsSuccessful manage both long-range and in-season forecastingProvide key marketplace inputs to help inform GTM processSuccessfully inform the organization of critical business needs to ensure strategic executionHow you will do it:

Partner with global counterparts to drive synergy across businessDrive brand initiatives, including building a 365 business, across channelConsistently deliver strategies focused on elevated distribution for The North Face brandPartner with Cross-Functional Sales Teams to support broader regional strategiesFree To Be,

Experience in Sporting Goods, preferably DSG ( this is a must to be considered ) including apparel, accessories, footwear and equipment.Oversight of a complex multi-million-dollar business.A relationship focused approach is critical for this role to establish strong cross-brand partnerships while partnering with some of the best retailers in America.The ability work in a fast-paced environment that requires a constant focus on how to evolve our business.Proven strategic thinker (tell us about this)Organizational skills including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.VF Guiding Principles:
