About The Role

As a UX designer you will work closely with a talented cross functional team to design and build an exciting suite of innovative products that push the boundaries of user experience for the energy industry. You will collaborate with product, software engineers, research, industry and ML experts to help define the future for intuitive, enterprise-grade, and state-of-the-art AI toolings that empower stakeholders and radically transform the energy space.

How You Will Make 10X Impact

Create end-to-end innovative design solutions through mock-ups, prototypes and detailed specs to drive the product vision.Communicate designs to both internal and external teams via compelling storytelling. Clearly rationalize and justify design work and be an advocate for the user experience.Own and tailor deliverables based on product and/or functional requirements, balance platform constraints, technical limitations, and stakeholder needs to deliver intuitive and effective design solutions.Build robust partnerships with engineers, product managers and other xFN team members to build, audit, and launch design into production environments, and to ensure accurate implementation of intuitive experiencesPartner and consult with feature teams to advocate for the capabilities of the design principles and language & how we are optimizing the development process.Establish and maintain common components, documentation in the design system, and maintain patterns and libraries to ensure design coherence across all projects, products and platforms.Bring forth a passion for design, and infectious obsession with craft and quality.

What You Should Have

Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience in consumer or enterprise software development3-5 years of professional experience in UX, information architecture and visual designKnowledge and experience with data visualization and enterprise design

Experience implementing visual design systems across platforms in an iterative software development environment, applying design tools (e.g. Figma , Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch). Strategic thinker, can work within constraints, and execute with attention to detail Strong ability/vision to navigate complex problems by devising beautiful creative solutions Great communication and presentation skills

Experience with enterprise software development in the energy sectorAdvocate of user-centered design principles and research across multiple platformsStrong technical knowledge (front end web applications)Motion design and prototyping skillsExperience working in fast paced startup environment

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000 - $191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
