THE ROLE:
We are looking for a Vice President of Influencer Marketing, Healthcare with experience leading influencer marketing programming on behalf of healthcare/pharma clients and a highly developed expertise in digital and social strategy. You will have strong grasp on how to utilize influencer marketing technology alongside your strong relationships with talent managers to identify and secure partnerships with leading influencers from the healthcare landscape and beyond. You’ll know how to collaborate with influencer partners to co-create content for clients in a highly regulated space and manage complicated timelines to deliver great content that gets approved. You also understand where influencer marketing fits in a full digital marketing ecosystem and have a clear understanding of how to ensure influencer programming ladders back to our clients business and communications strategy. Your rich pharma experience means you know the ins and outs of regulatory guidelines, but your own interest in consumer influencer marketing trends keeps you curious and pushing the envelope.
In this role, you’ll get to work with Fortune 200 companies, who are leaders in the healthcare category, across both MMC and RXMOSAIC. As team leader, you’ll teach and motivate a growing group of healthcare influencer specialists and work “hand in glove” with our Client Business Leaders to proactively expand our Rx influencer marketing portfolio via organic growth among our impressive and varied group of clients and in new business proposals. You’ll also advocate in the marketplace to drive our agency’s differentiated point of view through new offerings and tools.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
:
Team Leader
As a key leader of the Digital Health Team’s Influencer Marketing specialists, you will thoughtfully manage the time and career growth of team members who spend their days planning and executing influencer programs by providing:
Strategic direction and oversight to influencer relations and brand teams as needed
Oversight of day-to-day online influencer work across pharmaceutical accounts and Health & Well-Being practice
Strategic integration of traditional media, digital, content and creative teams
Assurance that all programs are results-driven and poised to meet clients’ business needs
Drive growth and thought leadership for influencer marketing within the pharmaceutical sector by proactively advocate for breakthrough influencer work
Functional Expertise
Innovate and lead highly compelling, results-driven influencer marketing program approaches, executions and presentations for pharma accounts
Partner with Strategy and Analytics team on new ways to measure programs to prove ROI of our work
Advocate for use of Tracckr, our influencer marketing technology platform, across all influencer marketing programs
Remain engaged and tapped into the healthcare innovation space to keep teams current
Growth
Help create and drive the agency’s differentiated POV and value in the influencer marketing space as it relates to healthcare
Grow the agency’s pharmaceutical healthcare revenue by:
Establishing relationships with clients to gain trust and seek opportunities to sell new influencer marketing programs and increase effectiveness and scope of current work
Actively engaging in new business pitches to ensure influencer is front and center in our activation programming
Identify new platforms, tools, and experts for partnerships or thought leadership
Landscape Innovation & Regulatory Excellence
Develop and lead influencer marketing approaches and programs that are compliant with regulatory requirements
Compliance and Innovation Expert
Have strong knowledge of both FTC and pharmaceutical regulation in influencer marketing; counsel clients and team on approaches and pitfalls
Lead breakthrough work in pharma influencer that complies with best practices and drive agency’s POV in:
Social etiquette for influencer relations
Compliance with ethical standards (FTC regulations, GDPR, etc.)
The latest technology and how it impacts influencer marketing (i.e. Artificial Intelligence, authentic metrics reporting, etc.)
Relationship Driver
Fluent on the ins and outs of patient and HCP advocacy groups and best practices for engaging and working with each
Bring new and innovative perspectives and capabilities that will expand our Influencer offering via:
Strong, ability to build relationships with advocacy groups and ideally demonstrate existing connections
New vendors for inspiration sessions/capabilities presentations
Events & trends, particularly as they relate to priority brand work
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
:
6-8+ years of integrated communications experience working in media, influencer or digital-related field specific to highly regulated pharmaceuticals (i.e. oncology, vaccines, reproductive health, Multiple Sclerosis, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (advanced degree is a plus)
Expert understanding of regulatory requirements, guidelines and parameters—especially as they relate to working with influencer and online content/channels
A deep understanding and demonstrated experience in leading influencer marketing strategies to move the needle for brands within the healthcare and pharma space, including understanding the strategy behind social media content creation, paid social campaign performance and overall digital marketing savviness
Well-developed analytical skills and affinity for content performance reporting
Outstanding communications skills (verbal, written, and presentation) and a dynamic social presence
Ability to set department priorities, lead, and work cooperatively to meet and exceed program goals
Knowledge of media relations, social media strategy, and engagement a plus
Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint

The anticipated salary range for this position is ($119,000-$180,000). Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
