Position OverviewUnder general direction, design, develop, maintain, and produce a variety of educational multimedia, including graphics, documentation, animations, mobile apps, and audio-video productions to meet client and program requirements. Perform related duties as necessary. This role requires 3 to 5 years of experience in developing web-based videos and training documentation outputs.Responsibilities:Create web-based videos and HTML-based help systems to support Follett products and applications.Develop content that aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives, collaborating closely with instructional designers and editors.Edit recorded video footage, adding effects, graphics, and animations to produce polished video products for websites, social media, presentations, and other platforms.'Ensure that video content meets technical and aesthetic standards for multimedia delivery.Conduct testing to ensure multimedia content functions seamlessly across various devices and platforms.Design and develop multimedia-based layouts, graphics, animations, videos, sounds, and other content for presentations, video productions, online tutorials, websites, and electronic media.Create print-based materials such as flyers, brochures, training materials, and other documents using professional graphic design and page layout software.Utilize software like Adobe Photoshop to adjust colors, brightness, contrast, and other image attributes to enhance visual quality and appeal.Perform technical tasks related to web-based video and audio production, video streaming, and both field and studio video and audio productions.Support Training Services by providing comprehensive assistance to trainers across all training resourcesMaintain and refine product line and professional development templates, continuously improving them as needed.Maintain and update multimedia product knowledge and skills, research new technologies and trends, troubleshoot and analyze technical issues, propose solutions, and recommend upgrades to hardware, software, and other technical equipment for the department. Additionally, ensure thorough understanding and knowledge of Follett productsQualifications:Associates degree or equivalent3 to 5 years of experience in graphic design or working in a multimedia environment, preferably in educational product development, educational product training, or educational publishing. Some experience in project management helpful.Camtasia, Adobe (Captivate, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, etc.), Microsoft Office, HTML, and MadCap Flare or similar single source content manager
