Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Contract Grant Writer to join our team. The Grant Writer will be responsible for researching, writing, and coordinating the grant application process, as well as managing proposals to foundations, corporate sources, and government entities. The ideal candidate will have experience in the healthcare field, particularly in speech and occupational therapy, and a successful track record in securing funding.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and Identify Funding Opportunities:
Conduct thorough research to identify potential grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies that align with All Care Therapies' mission and programs.
Stay updated on current trends and changes in the funding landscape.
Grant Proposal Development:
Prepare, write, and submit compelling grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting documents.
Collaborate with the therapy and program teams to gather necessary information and data for proposals.
Ensure all proposals meet funders' guidelines and deadlines.
Grant Management:
Maintain accurate records of past, current, and pending grant proposals.
Monitor the status of submitted proposals and follow up as needed.
Coordinate with finance and program staff to ensure compliance with grant requirements and timely reporting.
Relationship Building:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing funders.
Communicate All Care Therapies’ mission, vision, and needs effectively to stakeholders.
Reporting and Evaluation:
Prepare interim and final reports for funders, detailing the progress and outcomes of funded programs.
Assist in the evaluation of grant-funded programs to ensure objectives are met and reported accurately.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Health, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Proven experience as a grant writer with a successful track record in securing grants.
Knowledge of healthcare, particularly speech and occupational therapy, is highly desirable.
Excellent research, writing, and editing skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Proficient in using grant research databases and online grant submission portals.
