The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a talented and motivated Frontend Web Developer to join our team supporting the U.S. Navy Conventional Ammunition Division of the Systems Integration Department located at Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey. As an integral part of our highly experienced and capable team, you will apply your technical acumen in supporting a vital role for our Navy customers. Responsibilities:

User Interfaces: Create visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive frontend components. Create graphical representations and presentation of complex data sets on the client-side (frontend) of web applications.

Frontend Frameworks: Create and maintain user interfaces for web applications using frontend JavaScript frameworks such as React and Vue.

Design UI/UX: Design engaging and visually appealing user interfaces. Select colors, typography, and layout to enhance the user experience. Ensures that the visual design elements are implemented.

CSS Frameworks: Utilize popular CSS frameworks like Bootstrap to ensure responsive and consistent design across different devices and browsers.

Wireframing and Prototyping: Quickly create wireframes and prototypes to communicate design ideas and gather feedback from clients and stakeholders.

Collaboration: Work closely with developers, data analysts and business stakeholders to transform complex data sets into understandable and actionable insights and combine with UI/UX components.

Iterative Design: Incorporate feedback from clients and stakeholders to refine and improve designs before final implementation.

Performance Optimization: Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of web applications.

Cross-Browser Compatibility: Test and ensure compatibility of applications across various browsers and devices.

Code Quality: Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented code, draft supporting documentation, and conduct configuration management.

Qualifications:

Required:

U.S. Citizenship

Active Secret Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain one.

Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.

5 years minimum experience, performing frontend development and/or technical tasking similar to the work described below.

Experience with JavaScript Frameworks: Proficiency in frontend JavaScript frameworks, with a strong understanding of modern frontend frameworks/libraries such as such as React and Vue.

Proficiency in HTML: Demonstrate strong expertise in HTML, with the ability to create well-structured, semantic markup for responsive and accessible web applications.

Libraries: Develop and maintain code and library standards to ensure they are easily traceable and maintainable in the future.

CSS Frameworks: Strong experience with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap.

Design Skills: Demonstrated ability in UI/UX design, including color theory, typography, and layout principles.

Wireframing and Prototyping Tools: Create prototypes and mockups, managing brand quality consistency, and designing high-quality graphic images. Possesses experience with wireframing tools/techniques to quickly communicate design intent.

Responsive Design: Strong understanding of responsive design principles and techniques. Ability to design new features while managing older ones.

Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Desired:

Experience with Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

Agile Development: Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Testing Frameworks: Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks and tools.

Accessibility: Understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices.

Graphic Design Skills: Experience with graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.

Python Experience: Some experience with Python.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$78,700 - $165,300
