Job Summary

As the Director of Franchise Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and implementing insights-driven marketing strategies, campaigns, and marketing support programs for the CPR Cell Phone Repair (CPR) brand. CPR is a 450+ retail franchise located in the US and Canada. CPR provides customers with expert, same-day electronics repair services, in addition to playing a key role in Assurant's broader Service & Repair organization.

You will lead the integrated marketing strategy and planning process for the CPR franchise including initiatives that support the national and local level. You will partner with agency partners, LOB leaders, Marketing and other cross-functional teams to plan and prioritize work aligned to business strategy and goals.

This includes the development of both digital and in-store channel strategies that are designed to raise brand awareness, engagement, and drive revenue. Additionally, you will develop marketing support programs that provide CPR franchisees with the resources, training, and assets that are necessary in driving local marketing participation and engagement.

This position requires a creative thinker with a strong understanding of marketing principles and the ability to implement strategies that align with the CPR business objectives. Additionally, having an adaptive and collaborative mindset to build and maintain relationships with your stakeholders and agency partners is vital to drive continuous improvement.

Job ResponsibilitiesMarketing Strategy & Paid Media Planning - Lead development and execution of integrated marketing strategies, plans, and campaigns that are aligned to business goals and objectives. Develop and oversee paid advertising from beginning to end, including paid media strategy, planning, creative, testing, execution and optimization. Ensure that paid channels, targeting, campaigns and creative are effective and driving desired outcomes. Develop templates, tools and training that support activation at the local level and deliver on identified marketing goals and objectives.Digital Marketing Channels - Direct the digital and content strategy for CPR marketing channels including the CPR website, location pages and social presence. Direct email marketing and related campaigns or promotions. Accountable for ongoing management, optimization and performance, including leading and prioritizing any key initiatives and changes with relevant stakeholders and external agency partners as applicable.Market & Consumer Insights - Partner with internal research teams and external partners to conduct market and consumer research in support of CPR to inform marketing strategies, plans and campaigns. Lead messaging/concept testing to understand resonance, clarity, comprehension and effectiveness with target audiences.Advertising and Franchise Marketing Services - Direct the strategy, planning, execution, evaluation and optimization of marketing associated spend at the national and local level.Marketing Vendor and Agency Management - Lead the selection and management of CPR's marketing agency partner(s) and vendors. Ensure that work and service levels are delivered to expectations and within scope, schedule and budget.Franchisee Training & Support - Oversee training, guidance, support, and tailored marketing services (when applicable) to 450+ franchised retail locations in the US and Canada.Network Growth Management (marketing service specific) - Oversees the marketing tasks that are associated with the onboarding, offboarding, and transfer of CPR locations. You are responsible for ensuring that the related tasks are executed and meeting expectations.Retail Marketing & Brand Management - Manage and maintain retail store planning, fixturing, and design through the development and implementation of the brand's Retail Build Guidelines.Team Management - Manages 1-2 direct reports that are responsible for the day-to-day marketing tasks including the CPR website, social media, asset creation, campaigns, and general franchise support.Qualifications

Education & Previous Experience

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration or other related field.10+ years relevant experience in marketing with strong focus in digital marketing, advertising, campaign management and content strategy.5 years' marketing experience supporting a franchise or retail chain.At least 3 years' direct managerial experience.Knowledge & Skills:

Proven history of success in managing and executing marketing programs, campaigns and projects against defined objectives and KPIs.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling campaigns, messaging and content.Excellent people skills; ability to collaborate, build relationships and manage expectations, navigate cross-functional teams and internal/external resources.Strong organizational skills and follow through. Ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns from beginning to end.Strong analytical skills, keen insights and attention to detail. Ability to identify trends and develop insights to improve marketing performance.Proficiency in marketing technology and tools (CRM, analytics), project management tools, design software and Microsoft Office applicationsCustomer-focused attitude with a sense of urgency and commitment to delivering high-quality support.Direct experience with managing digital and traditional marketing efforts and channels from concept through to completion.Comfortable working in matrixed environments.Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with complex and changing market dynamics.Preferred Skills

5+ years of marketing experience supporting a franchise network or wireless carrier dealer network.3+ years of media planning, advertising or campaign management experience.Knowledge of or direct experience in telecommunications industry strongly preferred.Basic understanding of electronics repair industry, related products, services, and supply chain needs.

Pay Range:$99,200.00 - $165,600.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
