Solution Designer Digital Commerce

Assist global e-commerce sites and develop Salesforce Commerce Cloud/Demandware and consumer-facing applications. Apply knowledge of source control, build tools, and collaboration tools such as Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) Git and Jenkins. Understand business strategies and translate those strategies into technical architecture and roadmap. Responsible for systemic troubleshooting, applying expertise and knowledge of web technologies such as SCSS, JavaScript/jQuery, AJAX, XML, JSON, SOAP, and REST to develop robust solutions that support business goals. Work across teams to accomplish multiple tasks. Develop Salesforce Commerce Cloud and consumer-facing applications, including integrations with external systems and partners such as CMS, CRM, ERP, fraud management, and payment-continuously identify and resolve errors/bugs/issues throughout the web experience. Provide technical support for the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform. Comply with source code and manage the code release process. Participate in the testing framework for the unit, quality assurance, end user, and automated regression testing. Monitor order flow, catalog flow, scheduled jobs, etc. Participate in the development of large projects with internal and 3rd party resources. Responsible for utilizing 3rd party agencies' assets/modules and being their technical contact person. Responsible for providing the development and production server environments to 3rd party agencies and outside developers. Mentor other developers and team members.
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field plus 2 years of progressive experience in a Software Engineering occupation.
Must have (skills)
Must have experience with the following:2 years of experience with e-commerce development;2 years of experience with the following web technologies: SCSS, JavaScript/jQuery, AJAX, XML, JSON, SOAP, and REST;2 years of experience working in an Agile environment;2 years of experience with responsive web design concepts;2 years of experience with the following source control, build tool and collaboration tools: Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) Git, Jenkins;2 years of experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud/Demandware and consumer-facing applications;Demonstrated knowledge with systematic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills of e-commerce platforms;Demonstrated knowledge with unit testing and validation;Demonstrated knowledge with conducting research for new technical solutions using industry standards, best practices, and products;Demonstrated knowledge with SSL, DNS, Domains, and Web hosting.
Any experience may be gained concurrently.
Other:
Hybrid Remote Position. Telecommuting from San Diego, Orange or Riverside County. Must be at the office at least three (3) days a week.

Salary:
$96,900 - $149,400 per year
