Senior Graphic Designer.

Location:

Onsite in Burlingame, CA, New York, NY and Seattle, WAPay Rate Range:

$80 - $85/hour W2, based on experienceDuration : 6+ months contract

Summary:The main function of a graphic designer is to create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on design principles and concepts. A typical graphic designer needs to have a high level of creativity and able to communicate their ideas to both internal and external clients. The ability to be flexible to client demands, work well under pressure and multi-task are required skills.

Job Responsibilities:Conducting research on existing typefaces to identify gaps in the market and opportunities for innovation.Sketching and drawing initial concepts for new typefaces or fonts.Using software tools like FontLab, Glyphs, or RoboFont to create and refine digital prototypes of the typeface.Testing and proofing the typeface to ensure it meets quality standards and functions well across different contexts and applications.Collaborating with other designers, clients, or type foundries to incorporate feedback and address any issues that arise during the design process.Developing comprehensive type specimens and documentation to showcase the typeface and its intended use.Continuously staying up-to-date with typography trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
