The Sr. Director, Media Solutions will be tasked with leading the delivery of one of Decoded's most valuable clients. This requires expertise in five key areas:
  • World-class ability to build client & platform relationships
  • Exceptional track record of managing and growing business
  • Fearless ability to tell data-driven stories and extract key insights for senior-level clients
  • Deep understanding of capabilities across the digital landscape with a focus on Social, Search, Display/OLV, Site-Direct
  • Experience managing and stewarding career growth for a multi-disciplinary team (ranging from Associate to Director)
Responsibilities:
  • Client Leadership:
    • Serve as the lead day-to-day media point of contact with senior Brand and Media client stakeholders.
    • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the client's business, including strategic priorities, historical performance, competitive threats and opportunities to provide thought leadership and strategic POVs on behalf of the team.
    • In partnership with the SVP to whom this reports to - oversee client's business, driving innovative results, and challenging the norm, while maintaining business continuity goals.
    • Ensure senior media & agency leadership is proactively engaged in emerging client needs and accurate updates on the health of the relationship are regularly provided.
    • Bring new thinking to processes and drive efficiencies to ensure optimal performance of the team.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Oversee output of the day-to-day Media Solutions team to ensure delivery of executional and performance excellence at all times, including providing strategic support to junior team members.
    • Lead team delivery for development of all go-to-market strategies and media plans - informed by rich consumer/industry insights..
    • Ensure consistency and quality of response across all lines of business.
    • Lead internal and external status calls, ensuring all key content is addressed with stakeholders.
    • Directly manage direct reports, with oversight of all daily performance for the larger team - ensuring the team is delivering in service of agency and client goals.
  • Develop process improvements and best practices to ensure the Decoded team delivers consistency, flexibility and efficiency in all their internal and external outputs.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Build relationships with top media platform partners and oversee client JBP activation.
    • Ensure the Decoded team is engaging with key media partners and providing timely and thoughtful client recommendations grounded in strategy and data.
    • Manage effective cross-agency partnerships relationships (Creative & Media)
About You
  • 10+ years of industry experience focused on client service and digital media.
  • Eager to forge long-term client partnerships fueled by curiosity, data-driven strategies & brand performance outcomes.
  • A master of Digital, and social-specific media planning, activation and measurement.
  • Organized, with the keen ability to manage up and swing down as needed, as well as spearhead initiatives across various departments
  • Experienced in leading and managing growing teams in a high-pressure/campaign volume environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail across communications and deliverables.
  • Not afraid to defect from the status quo in order to make our clients and company more successful.
  • BA or equivalent with emphasis on marketing, advertising, or business.

Media.Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Media.Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Media.Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate's sex or any other protected status.

Salary Range$130,000-$175,000 USD
