Mercer is seeking candidates for the following position based in the New York City office (hybrid, 3 days a week in office; will also consider candidates in New Jersey, Boston, and Connecticut):

East Zone - Integrated Field Marketing Leader

What can you expect?
  • The Field Marketing Leader champions all aspects of the local marketing strategy and execution as a part of the US Field Marketing team
  • This role is a strategic business partner to the East Zone CEO, Office Leaders, Growth Operations Lead, and Practice Leaders as well as an ongoing contact for the local offices
  • The East Field Marketing Leader's primary responsibility is to drive the strategy and execution of the marketing plan for the zone; this includes the core local programs (Events, Sponsorships, Digital, advertising, etc.) as well as leveraging and localizing national campaigns to help drive new logos and cross/up-sell our existing base of clients
  • As part of the US Marketing Team, the East Field Marketing Leader is the voice of the East zone to advocate for local marketing needs unique to each office

We will count on you to:
  • Create and drive the local marketing strategy and plan, and ensure that core programs are delivered
  • Be a day-to-day partner for local leadership, working with line-of-business marketers to share knowledge and information and to advocate for the needs of the East Zone
  • Determine, champion, and align to national campaigns at the local level, and integrate into existing nurture campaigns
  • Develop and support local office websites and drive visitors to the site
  • Manage monthly reporting & key analytics across programs (influence on leads and opportunities, local Mercer events, sponsorships, local website engagement) and utilize Microsoft Dynamics and Demandbase for engagement stats on clients and prospects
  • Support local campaigns in Microsoft Dynamics, and help local offices manage a strategic marketing calendar of events in Smartsheet platform


What you need to have:
  • Innovative B2B marketing experience with demonstrated skills in successfully developing multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns, with proven results
  • 7+ years of marketing experience in a professional services firm or a large multi-national company
  • Minimum Bachelor of Science degree marketing/communications
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills; excellent communication skills; ability to interact professionally with high-level leadership and manage key internal client relationships across multiple offices.
  • Working knowledge of the following Sales/Marketing technology platforms (or equivalent): Microsoft Dynamics; Demandbase - Account Base Marketing; Adobe Experience Manager; Cvent; Wrike project manager; and Microsoft/Google Forms

All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $85,800 to $171,600.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
