Together, we will build the next generation of wireless platforms focused on enabling the Automotive Industry, Cellular Infrastructure, Smart Houses/Smart Cities through IoT, and the AI/ML revolution.We are seeking a seasoned Product Development Lead to bridge the radio system top-level definition with the design flow across multiple product portfolios. You will work with your cross functional leads, within and outside of the business unit to take projects from initial definition, through design implementation cycles, and launch the projects to mass production.You will be responsible to guide the balance between creativity and design risk management while working closely with the advanced technology team to plan out the technology roadmap.The location for this position is, San Jose, CA (preferred), Woburn, MA, Andover, MA or Irvine, CA .#LI-DB1Job Responsibilities

Lead the product definition of new designs to achieve best-in-class performance/cost trade-offWork with technology teams on road maps and benchmarkingWork with the EDA teams and tool vendors to drive tool developmentWork with foundries on PDK and model requirementsDevelop automation and methodologies to accelerate architecture definition and product developmentQualifications

MSc in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Electromagnetics or related subject12 years industry experienceHands on design experience in designing multiple RF and mmWave productsLow to high power PAs; LNAs; Switches; IPDsIn-depth IC design experience in technologies (GaAs, SOI, pHEMT, and GaN)Extensive expertise in both Cadence Virtuoso and Keysight ADSPEX parasitic extraction tools (eg, Calibre, Star RC)EM tools for full IC + module level simulation (eg, HFSS, Keysight FEM)Hands-on RF and mmWave measurement and calibration techniquesIn depth experience with RF and mmWave measurement equipment (e.g. Spectrum Analyzers, Vector Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, etc..)Good verbal and written communication and management skillsPreferred Attributes

PhD in, Electrical Engineering, Electromagnetics or related subjectKnowledge of revision control software (eg, Cliosoft)Good knowledge in one of the automation scripting tools (eg, AEL, Python)Modeling and PDK development High power packaging knowledgeStrong understanding of product realization process and design flowOver-the-Air antenna measurementsThe typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD

$163,800 -

$324,900 per year . Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
