ARRO Consulting is on the lookout for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Designer to take on pivotal design tasks within our engineering teams. If you have deep expertise in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and a passion for precision in civil and mechanical engineering designs, this role might be perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities:Complex Civil Design Projects: Utilize advanced features of AutoDesk AutoCAD and Civil3D to execute detailed civil design tasks. Responsibilities include generating topographic surveys, performing surface and subsurface analyses, drafting precise alignments, and creating cross-sectional and longitudinal profiles for a variety of infrastructure projects.Advanced Grading and Volumetric Analysis: Execute detailed grading plans using 3D Polylines, Feature Lines, Grading Groups, and Corridors in Civil3D. Calculate volumes for cut and fill operations, and design grading solutions for complex landscapes such as channels and berms, under the supervision of senior engineering staff.Hydraulic Structure Design: Lead the design efforts for essential hydraulic structures, including pipelines, reservoirs, and specially designed water storage facilities. Create comprehensive, detailed drawings that encompass all necessary specifications for construction and implementation.Pump Station and Mechanical System Design: Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP). Develop and oversee the process and mechanical design of utility infrastructure including, but not limited to, pumping stations and treatment facilities.Software Proficiency and Innovation: In addition to mastery in AutoCAD and Civil3D, bring expertise or a willingness to learn other software like MicroStation and ArcGIS. Contributions to BIM modeling using Autodesk Revit and similar tools will be highly regarded, enhancing our design processes and output quality.Leadership in Design Execution: Provide guidance and direction in basic and complex design tasks. Calculate precise engineering grades and accurately determine utility placements based on comprehensive plans and engineer instructions. Mentor junior designers in adopting best practices in CAD operations.Estimation and Budgeting: Play a crucial role in construction cost estimation by translating design tasks into detailed budget forecasts.
