They will manage complex design projects with a high attention to brand aesthetics, detail, and accuracy. The Creative Services Manager must be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize work for themselves and their team to meet deadlines. S/he plays a leadership role on the creative team and partners closely with Product Design, Digital Marketing, PR/Communications, Samples and Purchasing, Sales and the Segment Marketing Team.

Job Description:

This position reports to the North America Creative Director. Key responsibilities include:

In collaboration with marketing and sales, drive conceptualization and design of marketing solutions from concept to completion for a variety of mediums, including digital, in-store/in-office, print, sales tools, direct mail, etc.Partner with segment marketing managers, digital team and external production partners to develop dynamic photo/video content for formica.com, digital media campaigns and social platforms including Instagram and Pinterest.Art direct video and photography shoots for residential and commercial product launches, social media campaigns and advertising, ensuring on brand aesthetics and appropriate display of product. Lead coordination with external photographer/videographer and production company, and internal partners.Oversee development of all technical documentation including Product Installation Guides, Samples Catalogs, National Product Guides and Technical Data SheetsAssist with corporate trade show activity in partnership with sales, marketing and Trade Design Manager.Manage vendor relationships for creative services, graphic support, printing, promotional items, etc.In partnership with Creative Director, serve as aesthetic "Brand Champion," ensuring that brand, campaign and creative standards are adhered to, in both internal and external work, maintaining a high standard for creative excellence at all times across mediums.Using Workfront, manage graphic design workload, assigning projects, overseeing timeline progress and ensuring adherence to critical deadlines.Manage one graphic designer, plus a network of external contractors, suppliers and co-op students/interns.Travel up to 25% of the time (US, Canada, Mexico).Miscellaneous projects as assigned.Desired Skills & Experience:

BA/BS degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or related field.7+ years of internal creative services/graphic design, interior design/architecture firm or agency experience required.Proven success in creative concept development, art direction, graphics and design execution.Experience working across a variety of mediums, including traditional and digital (website, e-campaigns, social and advertising).Strong understanding of the printing process, color and quality parameters.Ability to write creative briefs and assess creative work against strategy - based on concept, design strength and copywriting.Exceptional skills with InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, and Microsoft Office programs. Experience with HTML, photography and/or video editing a plus.Experience with (or willingness to learn) a project management system (i.e.,Workfront, BaseCamp, etc.) and a Digital Asset Management system (i.e., WebDAM/Bynder, Acquia DAM, Canto, Brandfolder, etc.)Idea-driven leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as a member of marketing team and multiple cross-functional project teams. Ability to effectively present ideas and champion work across departments with a variety of stakeholders.Organized, detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to prioritize projects, work within short time frames and meet deadlines.Demonstrated coaching skills and ability to help direct report(s) grow as design practitioners and marketing professionals.Ability and willingness to take on a variety of roles from leader to strategic contributor to tactical implementer in lean organization with limited support infrastructure.
