Seeking Publisher for jewelry industry magazine catering to high-touch luxury jewelry and Rolex retailers, estate jewelry businesses and auction houses.

The company at large is seeking to produce and distribute a paid subscription of high value to their readership by providing reliable cutting-edge news, data, and analysis of great benefit to retail jewelry businesses. The magazine is in existence currently, in both print and digital formats. The goal is to reposition it, making changes in strategy and content in both forms, to appeal to a broader base of readers and advertisers. At present, there is no magazine of its kind.

Emphasis is being placed on leveraging the digital magazine and capitalizing on opportunities in social media, podcasts, videos and other forms of information dissemination and digital marketing to promote the magazine and overall group of companies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

~ Create an information-driven publication of high value and exceptional quality in design, visuals, and content for high-end jewelry retailers (Rolex retailers), estate jewelers and auction houses.

~ Function as an ambassador of the magazine and company group within the luxury sector.

~ Take a multimedia approach to publishing that involves print, digital and social media.

~ Handle sales, marketing and public relations for the magazine and advertising/promotional opportunities via business-to-business client relations.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

~ Must possess digital luxury/lifestyle publishing experience and a track record of profitable publications management and cross title and platform integration.~ History of success and excellence in editorial direction, multi-media publishing and promotion, and digital campaigns.~ Strategic approach to business, creative idea generation and significant network of contacts.

~ Has a record of high success in luxury business-to-business sales and marketing, and the creation and implementation of successful digital campaigns and customized advertising initiatives.

~ Proven ability to monetize digital media opportunities including podcasts, videos, and social media pursuits.

~ High competency in connecting content to retailers including High End Retailers (Rolex Retailers), Estate Jewelers and Auction Houses.

~ Has experience successfully marketing to US-based high luxury jewelry retailers and/or relevant luxury companies who could be potential advertisers.

~ Knows how to address a connoisseur/collector/affluent audience.

~ Eye for exceptional design and imagery.

~ Proven ability to implement Digital Information Services.

~ New products conceptualization and establishment.
