What it is:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for marketing activities that align with Stellar MLS standards. The manager will work with all departments to increase customer satisfaction and awareness of the Stellar MLS service offerings, products, and tools by identifying, developing, and delivering relevant and valuable content, often targeted to a specific customer audience.

The manager is responsible for creating and executing a marketing/communications plan to keep MLS customers informed about Stellar MLS products and services that are relevant and valuable to their business. This position plays a major role in developing marketing concepts and themes for product launches and ongoing marketing initiatives to drive customer satisfaction and growth.

The manager is responsible for the day-day operation of the Marketing and Communications department. This position reports to the VP of Marketing and Communications.

What you'll do:

This is a salary, exempt, full-time role. Your essential duties and responsibilities will consist of:Provide day-to-day supervision, mentorship, disciplinary action/coaching, conduct performance appraisals, and delegate work assignments for the directly reporting team members.Leadership - ability to lead, collaborate, motivate, and inspire team members.Closely collaborate and align all marketing and communications activities with brand management team efforts and other departmental efforts that have a marketing component.Identify and recommend opportunities for marketing and communication projects for the department.Work closely with supervisor, team members, brand manager, web designers, other department managers, and strategic partners to align marketing and communication goals for services, products and tools offered by Stellar MLS with overall company objectives.Create and execute an annual marketing plan and editorial calendar to ensure an effective cadence of integrated Marketing strategies, company initiatives, transactional & operational marketing, and product marketing & communications internally as well as externally.Integrated marketing management, including but not limited to delivering marketing-driven communications, print and promotional materials, editorial and press opportunities, email marketing, creative writing, digital marketing including blogs, social media posts and other digital content about Stellar MLS marketing operations, products and tools.Manage execution of established product marketing as well as advertising strategy for MLS propriety products.Cross functional collaboration with other departments, including but not limited to the Training department and New Business Development team to develop compelling and relevant product marketing content and communications for new Customers and Shareholder Associations.Work in partnership with supervisor, all marketing and brand team members and web developers to create digital content that supports the product marketing as well as communications efforts such as guides, infographics, images, landing pages and videos.Ensure content on product web pages on the corporate and consumer search sites is kept relevant and up to date.Oversee customer surveys as requested by management, including development, distribution, response management, and reporting upon conclusion.Liaise and collaborate with the other departments to ensure product content is up to date in relation to new product releases or updates.Occasional after-hours is required and must be able to travel.Availability, timeliness, and regular attendance are essential functions of the position whether these relate to onsite or in a remote environment.Other responsibilities as assigned.Timely and regular attendance is an essential function of the position; being physically present in the work environment is an essential job function.Cross-training for other departmental functions is expected and required.Must be able to work in a hybrid work environment both in the office and remotely (in the state of Florida)Requirements

To succeed in this role, the Marketing Manager will need a particular skill set. For this position, those include:Other Essential SkillsAdvanced and extensive proofreading/editing skills.Fluency in AP Style, marketing best practices and copywriting techniques.Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills. Proven ability to write clearly and effectively for various audiences.Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-changing environment.Must have excellent written, verbal, listening, and interpersonal skills.Operations-oriented, keeping excellent attention to detail and meeting deadlines.Must be able to follow company policies and procedures.Exceptional leadership and customer service skills.Advance knowledge of marketing and communications best practices and tools.Team-player with the ability to be effective independently.Maintain professionalism with customers, vendors, and staff at all times.

2. Essential Physical Skills

3. Education, Certifications, and Software Skills

BA/BS in a Communications or Marketing field, or equivalent work experience.2 years of management and leadership experience preferred.Working knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, or other graphics tools preferred.Digital marketing certification a plus.What you need to value:
